Motel Jesup — Hotel in Jesup

this property is located in a convenient place, close to a temp job my husband is working at, it doesn't have bugs and they offer a lot of cable channels and movie channels... that is the only good things i have to say about it.||||calls were made for weekly rate quotes a week before we arrived. when we arrived we paid and the very next day, the owner knocked on the door and handed us a bill ! he informed us that they didn't charge us for the tax and that the pet fee was not $10.00 weekly and that it was $10.00/nightly. we do a LOT of traveling for jobs... big hotel chains usually charge on avg $20. to $25. weekly! we went to look at other places and told him we were going to check out so he changed his mind and said he would honor what he charged for the week since it was his mistake but we checked out after the week was up since we found a better place.||||if you have a dog, the owner will insist that you walk your dog around the back of the building which i was completely not comfortable with in the dark with the shady characters that were there!||||the rooms are small and stunk!! had to light candles and air out the room all day. beds are uncomfortable. they offer a coin laundry mat with one washer and one dryer. housekeepers didn't come to our rooms for 2 days and when i inquired about towels and garbage bags... she informed me that we need to place dirty towels & garbage outside our doors to get service. I told her... no one informed us of this at check in. they placed a vaccuum outside my door so i gladly did our floor since we have a dog. they asked my friend if she would like to vaccuum her floor and she told them she believes that is what the housekeeper gets paid for! very shady characters check in to this place. my room phone rang all hours of the day and nite...have no idea why so many people can't dial the right room number. the toilet easily clogged and ran continuously. the ac/heater unit was so loud that ya couldn't hear yourself think and had to blast the tv to even hear it! internet hardly ever worked. there isn't a pool at this motel.||||i woldn't recommend this...

Absolutely disgusting!!! Any review that states otherwise is a complete lie.the rooms we're filthy and smelled horrible.the people that live in half of the rooms told me that there is alot of drugs and prostitution sales there,which we later confirmed with the jesup sheriff's department which they know about but can't stop it.we checked in and seen the room and immediately checked out and the man still charged us.then stated "that white americans are filth and we are the problem with the world" his exact words.it is the worst hotel i have ever seen and i promise none of this is a lie.if it we're nicer my review would be better.before i left tenants showed me there smashed in car window saying that the drug addicts "will" rob your car in the middle of the night.and was also offered cocaine before i left.please do not take your family there if u care about your wellbeing at all.they need to shut that hell hole down.and as for us filthy trash white americans the guy stated,if you care about our country and don't support arabs..than don't spend your money with a racist that hates...

Motel Jesup is a hidden secret. I have stayed in every hotel in Jesup, but this was my first stay at Motel Jesup. It will be my only destination now. The owner staff is extraordinary and care for all the guest needs. The room are updated along with the bathroom and the AC/Heating works well. Beds are very comfortable and staff is attentive to every detail. It outshines the chain facilities within 30 miles. And I could not believe the price. More than worth the value. In this case I was staying because of Hurricane Matthew. I expected prices to rise like all the other hotels. When I saw the room price, I ask the owner why he didn't follow all the other competition and raise rates. His reply was "I am here to help take care of people in need, not take advantage of them."
