Bear Creek Winery — Hotel in Kachemak City

The Arctic Suite was amazing! Heated Koi pond right outside the front door, had the friendliest, chunky koi fish ready to greet you as you walk by. Not to brag but I’m pretty sure the smallest fish said he would be my bff. This suite is adjacent to the custom stone hot tub that is deep enough to stand in the middle and be submerged to your neck. Hot tub at 10pm with a full moon illuminating our surroundings…ummm Talk about relaxing!! My fiancé and I went for our one year anniversary. Had the entire place to ourselves, there were no other guests at the time. Very peaceful!! Wine tasting was amazing, neither of us were fond of wine but now we own a wine rack and a bottle of every wine Bear creek has to offer! Being locals born and raised on the Kenai Peninsula, it is very hard to find something new and fun to do for date nights and/or special occasions. This is a total gem and will be our first choice for our Homer stays from now on. This beats the Lands End ten fold. Especially the difference in staff. The staff at Bear Creek are absolutely amazing. They are probably the friendliest most polite individuals we have ever dealt with on a trip. If you’re looking for a little get away or an extended stay, we would fully recommend Bear Creek. Locals or tourists are guaranteed to have a great experience!! We had rented the Bear Creek winery apartment and cabins for our wedding weekend and it was amazing! We use the garden for our ceremony and reception. The support staff were easy and fun to coordinate with, the place had enough room to sleep all of our close friends and great amenities, and the winery is conveniently close to town. ||||If looking to host an event at the winery, they provided tables, tents, and and MC system for music. The place is so beautiful it’s decoration on its own. The staff were easy to contact and great help on the day of and leading up to. ||||The grounds were very private and beautiful to walk through. The decks, jacuzzi, and koi pond are very peaceful, the apartment has a panorama view of the Kachemak Bay, and the cabins were a great honeymoon spot! The apartment is very comfortable and spacious, a great place to host a group. ||||The winery provided free wine tastings daily to guest, and vouchers for breakfast in town. While visiting Homer for our wedding, we had many guests in town, the winery was conveniently close to town, making it easy to get together with our guests and visit places...

Brava! The staff at Bear Creek Winery and Lodging as a team turned our entire weekend around for us, what a romantic getaway! My boyfriend and I were provided with last minute accommodations when they learned of our unfortunate experience with a different local lodging business. The complimentary bottle of house made Black Raspberry wine & locally crafted truffles were a warm warm welcome. 10% off our stay for simply being Alaskan residents and the $15 breakfast vouchers per person for our choice of several of my favorite local eateries, were an added bonus! The soaking tub was beautiful and deep, when we couldn’t get it working the manager was on hand within minutes to see to the issue to make sure it was piping hot for us.
