Arrowhead Inn — Hotel in Kansas City

This was the last option at the time of night Got a room and before walking to the room, you see the hallways and the hallway looks like something out of the movie the shining it is filthy. There are cockroaches that are about 3 inches big. They don’t clean it that they sweep it behind the dresser but going down the hallway baseboards are coming loose big holes The stairways there’s no way in the world even attempt that where you are supposed to get like something to drink or something on machines wouldn’t trust it with a temp pole and go on down the hall says enter your own risk, but the rooms the water was not working the shower Was not well. It was disgusting. Had to put a chair up against the door and the curtains and the chair has some white stains on them. The curtains look like they’ve been there since president Kennedy stay I do not recommend this. They do not give you a refund and it is creepy. It is disgusting so make sure you read this review and and yes if you’re homeless, you’re better off if you live under a bridge, you’re better off this place is just beyond disgusting it needs to be shut down the people that run it. They just are creepy. It’s just not someplace that a human should stay You know you pay for the night or whatever and when you only stay like two hours, yeah and you can’t sleep in. Also, the bedding was not changed. Nasty trash in the trashcan. I could go on and on on, but this is a very long review but yeah, do not. I repeat. After booking tickets to see Stevie Nick's at Arrowhead Stadium, I ignorantly forgot to book a hotel room. Coming from Joplin, Missouri on the day of the concert almost every hotel was completely booked. We find this place and I'm desperate and thinking ok, I don't care about decor or need anything fancy, as long as the place is safe and bug free I'm good. The guy who checked us in was super friendly and helpful! The rooms were definitely outdated, the linens seemed clean but stained. I didn't see not 1 bug at anytime we were there👍it was super quiet and we felt safe. My biggest complaint was after returning from the concert and a few casinos at 3am the lobby doors were locked( which there was a sign saying that they are locked at 9:30 pm and to ring bell for entry), no biggie, but after like ringing for over 5 minutes to get in so we could go to our room, a younger lady came with a mop bucket. We showed our room key and she looked very irritated with us. She unlocked the door, but absolutely refused to let us walk down the hallway to our room. She told us, I just mopped the entire floor and you aren't walking on my mopped floors.. she made us go up to the next floor and go back down to the other floor to get to our room. She was so rude. When we checked out, the attendant was very nice. So to sum it up, if you want a super clean room and updated this isn't the place for you. The management team are extremely unprofessional disrespectful they lie they steal cannot be trusted the maintenance team is impeccable on point they do extremely professional and efficient jobs they are courteous and polite respectful and they deserve to get raises in their pay the lady at the front desk is extremely disrespectful rude lying and stealing from the guests she should be fired for the way she treats people and I hope that women is never in charge of the care of children or the elderly because I know in my heart she would be abusive to them. A friend of mine had her deposit stolen by front desk and they're sorry excuse for a reason that they would not give it back to her was because her name was not the one that was used to rent the room although she's the one that rented the room her ex-boyfriend who had broken up with her while they were in the room is the one whose name was on the room she was no longer able to contact him because while they were there he broke up with her leaving her in the room by herself upset so when she went to check out she was forced if she wanted to get her deposit back to try and contact him even though she was upset and very heartbroken after a very upsetting morning trying to contact him to get her $20 back for the deposit she ended up being told that even though it was her money she would not be getting it back probably the worst customer service I've ever seen in my life at the arrowhead in but kudos to the people who clean the rooms good job to them and also good job to the...
