I travel for work and stay in hotel/motels throughout the US, from Hyatts to budget friendly motels and I have to say, this was honestly the best experience I've had out of everywhere I've stay. On first glance you'd think it was a bate motel but it's small, quaint, quiet and incredibly clean. I just knew it was going to smell like mold and/or mildew because it's older but it smells like HOME. The room was/is incredibly clean, spacious and I haven't saw one bug minus a fly or moth that slipped in. The room has been decorated for a homey feel, crisp white towels, crisp white shower curtain, flat screen, microwave, and midsized frig. The bed is absolutely the best part for me. It feels like my bed at home. Not like your typical hotel/motel bed. It's like memory foams or something idk but I don't want to get out of bed. The sheets and quilt I love. They are clean and very soft. The room has an A/C unit that works. Trust me lol. And the heat works as well. The water pressure in the shower is excellent and the water didn't dry my hair out. No signs of rust. The property is quite and the lady that runs the place is super cool, sweet and extremely accommodating. WiFi signal is great and satellite too. I was a little worried about that but it's perfect. The door has a regular key to it and locks well. It also has a deadbolt on it. I appreciate this being a female traveling alone, for work. I feel incredibly safe. There I a store across the street, one 2 seconds down the street and a family dollar beside of the hotel that is open late. It's close to the airport, about 27 mins and I am so glad I found this place. If I had to no where to live, I...

It's exceptionally clean, the room was spacious and comfortable, a welcome respite after a long day on the road. The bed, often a point of contention in my experience, was reminiscent of my own. Clean linens and a well-functioning heating + AC unit, minifridge, and microwave in room. The bathroom was equally clean, with great hot water.
Beyond appearances, the genuine hospitality stood out. They were accommodating and helpful– we'd forgotten utensils for dinner so asked on the chance they might help, and they quickly offered to share one of theirs.
The property itself is quiet and peaceful, ensuring a restful stay. My partner and i felt very safe on the property and secure in our room, like staying with relatives or a friend.
The location is convenient, with several stores, interesting local shops, and everything you'd need in the town of Keenesburg, parks, skatepark, all walking distance. Easy to access to the Wild Animal Sanctuary, our destination for our trip. The proximity to the airport, approximately 27 minutes, is also a practical advantage. For travelers who appreciate cleanliness, comfort, and the personal touch of a family-owned business, this motel is everything you could ask for in a motel experience and so much more, as the people you are supporting are humble, kind, and down to earth, which makes it so much better than anywhere else you could stay, a cut above the rest. Will come back to visit the Sanctuary, and likely this...
Read moreThis has got to be the cleanest older motel I have ever stayed in. The walls are bright white. There's a new bathtub surround with modern faucets and shower head. The carpet is new the room smelled good. This is the kind of Motel where you drive up and park in front of your door. The lot out front is gravel. You can clearly hear the freeway and morning truck sounds will disturb someone who sleeps in late. I could tell by the creaky floor that it was a much older property but you wouldn't have known it from looking in the bathroom. The beds were fine. The blankets were nothing special. There was a microwave and refrigerator and Dish Network. Free Wi-Fi was available but the download speed was abysmal but I can't complain because of the value pricing. Bring your own shampoo and your own hair dryer. Everything else you need will be here. I would definitely...
