Camp Wright — Hotel in Kent Island

Beyond disappointed in Camp Wright. During Christmas in July session in summer 23, multiple 20something staff members were fired for drug and alcohol use (LSD, mushrooms) mid week of the session. No notice was sent to parents as they were scrambling for interim staff.

Gets worse, Camp Director Julia had no idea during this drug induced night that the high counselors went into cabins for a dance party. Why is an adult ( not a 20something) on watch at night?

Queen Anne’s Sheriff was called and investigation started. Want confirmation about this issue- call them.

The camp has still not publicly acknowledged this on hopes that only the older campers know. Litigation is coming their way and Camp Director...

We held an event that spanned over 2 nights at Camp Wright at the beginning of the month. The venue was charming and rustic, with the perfect view of the bay. We were so impressed with the event coordinator, Cara F.! Her customer service was next level, and she went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for our dinners! We were so grateful to have her on board during our 2 nights...

A feeling of having given help where it was needed . Thankful for a gorgeous day, with lower temps & humidity . God allowed the storm to do the damage to Camp Wright, then He presented us with the chance to join with our fellow Christians & clean up the damage done by the storm.
