The beach is beautiful but This place has been the worst experience of my life the Staff there are Rude. If your a latino family i won't Recommends this place the staff are racist. They been rude and racist to my family the whole day then they kicked us out because we didn't buy the food they sold there. I ask what the problem they said "i told your family they can't eat outside" i said they "don't understand English this won't happen again" then the staff said "i don't care get out" then after that when we were getting ready to leave they went to our cars and said "why are you still here get out". It made me sad the amount of racism and the way they Treated us, DON'T GO. More happened but it's to much...

My family and I stopped here on a whim, it’s a really nice beach (don’t expect crystal clear water). It’s small but there’s still adequate space even on a busy day. Peaceful and serene, at least when we went (which was on Memorial Day). The wait time was 30 minutes, honestly for the amount of people in line it wasn’t bad. I will say make sure you take everything that you need inside once you’re in because if you have to leave out (even to run right across the gate to your car) they’ll make you get back in line. All in all it was a great visit and my family and I will definitely be back. If you don’t feel like driving all the way to Ocean city but still want a chill beach day,...

Nice little dog beach area just over the Bay Bridge. I was looking for a place to take our pooch, and if you follow the rules of the beach it's a great few hours here. First, there were no jellyfish. That depends on the time of year you go. Second, it's a short wooded hike but no big deal. When you enter the beach the dog area is in front and to the right. Up towards the left end is for humans. They have their own separate entry way. I did gather a small pile of trash that was laying around and took that with me when I left to dispose of. We kept our dog on a long leash, but others had theirs off leash. Clearly, during the week would be less crowded than on...

My boyfriend and I took our puppy to the dog beach. To start, after visiting this beach I found two ticks on my body and one on my dog. You do have to walk through a pretty heavily forested area to get to the beach, but we were very cautious not to touch the foliage. On top of the psychological trauma of not knowing whether we’ve gotten all of the ticks off of our dog (he’s quite furry.) The water had a lot of debris (seaweed, trash, and crab bones (?)) so you could barely see through it. This, in conjunction with the comment about jellyfish, made me super tentative about getting in the water. Overall not worth the drive or energy.

Took my son to the beach the other day. I had never heard of this beach before, so I enjoyed our adventure. I'm not sure how deep the water is but we were able to walk about into the waves for a bit without it knocking us over and sitting in the water without it going over our heads. My son truly enjoyed himself and so did I. Parking sucks though. Not too many parking spaces, so you have to keep circling the lot until one becomes available. The park rangers got annoyed with folks who just sat and wanted to wait for someone to move from a space. They want the traffic to keep flowing.
