Ocean Front RV Resort — Hotel in Kermit

Looks like a nice park so I reserved a spot for an upcoming job I was supposed to be on next month. It was a corner lot, bigger lot so bigger price tag ($1180/month). It was mid month when I reserved the spot so they prorated me on the month. A week later I found out my job had changed and I would not need to go to this rv park anymore. I called to see about a partial refund and even though the emailed receipt I received nor their website says NOTHING about “no refunds” I was told I was unable to receive any sort of refund. When I asked why, the clerks response was “my company just doesn’t do that”. My wife emailed them about seeing their refund policy....since it was not presented to us upon reserving the spot....but she was not responded to.....imagine that! I basically payed $650 for a dirt spot I never used, with no cost to them since I didn’t use any water or electric. For as much as they charge to park a camper here you would think they would actually give you a little bit of money back for not using their site for the entire month.

If you decide to pay the outrageous amount for this park make sure you are for sure coming there before reserving a spot.

Overall pretty good place to stay. 3 stars bc of the pool. They need to hire a maintenance man that can take of this daily. Pool was green for half of our stay. Residents taking it upon themselves to try and keep up with It but buying chemicals themselves gets old fast. Everything at the park is nice for now and we loved it there but lack of maintenance and it won't last long. The people that stay there are awesome. We made some good friends. If you dont want your camper hit by soccer balls dont park by the field and they play almost every night until late. Gates dont always work so it seems like people from come in a lot to play soccer and hang out. All in all it just needs some TLC on a daily bases but...

We just moved in yesterday. And it's a beautiful park. Our family loves all the amenities and can't wait to enjoy everything. You have to download the csc go laundry app. It's all done by your phone. And I love that I can see how many are available before going to the laundry room. And it sends me notifications when my stuff is done. I love this digital feature! Update: driers seem to be out of order often. This is a large rv park with alot of residents, a repair man needs to be called every day one goes out. 1 drier had an error message the first week I did laundry here, and won't work. Now only 5 or 6 driers work with 8 working washers. That leaves people fighting over the few...
