First review. See updated March 2025. The park was easy to find. It is located on the outskirts of town not far from I 40. There is pavement all the way to the park. Interior roads are paved as well. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. We were escorted to our site. Our site,83, was a pull through that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer) were to the left side. Distancing is very close but typical for an urban park but our site was extremely narrow. We could not use the full length of the picnic table. Most was squeezed between shrubs so we could walk by it. Most sites had a vegetation barrier. Each site has a table but NO fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was pretty well manicured. Revised review March 2025 Our first site, 57, was a pull through that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed but was so narrow we could not extend our slides (one on each side) plus when opening the door we would almost be walking into the trees. Services (30 amp and water only) were to the left side center of the site AS WAS THE TABLE! Distancing is fair for an urban park. Some sites had a vegetation privacy barrier which was the problem with this site. Overall the site was flat and even but totally unusable for us. We went back to the office to let them know of our problem. The clerk was somewhat snotty but radioed a groundskeeper to find out if there was a more suitable site. In order to get a site that would be wide enough, we had to upgrade to a full service site. We agreed to upgrade. What else could we do other than forfeit the money we had already paid. The replacement site, 61, was a bit wider but not fully. We had to position the coach more to the rear to accommodate our slides and park our towed at the front to make it usable. Not that big of a deal except the services were more to the front of the site. We had extra hoses and our power cable was able to reach just barely. We have used this park before and have never been placed where fitting was difficult. Our previous stays found us in site 83 and another one in the 80s where we had no problems fitting. We did not use the park included wifi and the cable TV was worthless as most channels could not be reached due to a provider problem. We did not find any OTA channels. Satellite would not be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We have decided that we will no longer use this park due to the clerks attitude and why we were placed in an unsuitable area of the park. We paid $67.00 per night (inc tax) and we feel we received poor value. We will never be back again

We stayed in a deluxe cabin, it was more of an apartment above the pool area, which was fine with us. The cabin looks recently renovated. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Ice cold air conditioning. Very friendly staff. Kingman is growing and changing and the areas around the KOA vary from pretty old and rundown to newer homes. We felt safe and only heard one siren the first night and one the last morning. It appears they have security and on site 24/7 staff. The pool is well maintained. It's the desert so their grass is dead, but it didn't bother us as we didn't need live grass to enjoy ourselves. They have a little playground and a put put golf area. The general store at check in is well stocked and clean. The towels in our room are very big and not just basic standard hotel towels. Our cabin had an apartment sized fridge, 2 stove tops, microwave, coffee maker, dining table, pull out sofa, bunk beds, and queen bed. The bathroom was very clean. Lots of extra blankets provided. If you need sheets for the pull out sofa ask ahead of time. We just threw a blanket on the pull out since our kids didn't want to use the top bunk. All in all it was a good place to stay while we were in Kingman. We have Celiac Disease so we always try to stay in places where we can make our own meals. We had plenty of options in our room and also visited the Chophouse and In N Out for safe gluten free meals outside our cabin. Not a bad stay at all.

The Kingman KOA was an hour and a half drive from Las Vegas and was the perfect little getaway for our family. We stayed in the deluxe cabin with porch and it far exceeded my expectations of a campground cabin. It was clean, well maintained, well insulated and I didn’t even have to run the heater at night in November. The cabin came with toiletries, clean towels and linens, kitchen utensils, cutting board and knife, dining table, tv with cable, microwave, mini fridge, a queen size bed, a separate room with a bunk bed with twin bunk on top and full on the bottom. The porch outside the door had a table with seating for 4 and in front of the porch there was a gas grill and fire pit with 2 chairs. The grounds were clean, quiet, and well patrolled. There is a horseshoe pit, mini golf, game room, very reasonably priced store, a food truck that serves breakfast and lunch. The staff on the grounds and at the store were so friendly and accommodating. The grounds itself was very convenient, 5-10 min drive from gas stations, stores, and restaurants. We will definitely be coming back to this location for our next fishing trip and to visit Keepers of the Wild (tickets bought on Groupon $27 for 2 adults and 2 children or $18 for 2 adults). Thank you, KIngman KOA, for the hospitality. We will be seeing you again soon!

Had a great stay at the KOA Kingman up until 5 minutes after checkout. When a male member of their staff opened the door of my RV while I was showering alone without my husband or children ... all to let me know that we were 5 minutes after check out time. As we left the park my family and I discussed this, trying to decide if we were overreacting, we spoke to KOA corporate who felt this was very unacceptable, we spoke with Cruise America who we had rented the RV from and their staff felt it was highly unacceptable, we even spoke with the front desk staff at this location who felt this was very unacceptable. We felt like everyone was on the same page until the management or owner of the location called us and began to let us know that this was our fault because their staff had heard me say "come in". She insisted this was a miscommunication, instead of a huge misstep by their staff. She sighed and we could hear her eyes rolling through the phone as she proceeded to gaslight us about what happened. After things got combative and confrontational and it was apparent her only interest was serving as an apologist for her staff we insisted the stay be comped, which was not offered by her. Pro tip on customer service for the person we spoke to on the phone: Invalidating my experience as a naked woman in her shower and having a stranger opening my door, speaking into a private space does not fly. APOLOGIZE for the misunderstanding and for that happening and then promise to do better. Even if you have no intention of doing so, just apologize. This is a nice park with some beautiful flowering hedges, but we would highly recommend you lock your doors and not assume any illusion of privacy here, and don't expect the management and owner to be customer centric. If you are self sufficient and do not rely on interaction with staff, this place is perfect, clean and very...

I do think this KOA is a good one, and it's a convenient place for me when I visit since my son lives right down the road. This is my second stay here. I like the greenery and it's obvious that they care. However, while I was spending 4 nights there in a cabin without a bathroom, I was disappointed in the facilities. The main bathroom had a shower that was out of order the whole time we were there, it had two sinks that were completely plugged up (the two on the left, in case you're wondering, KOA), one of the other bathroom buildings that was closer to us had one door permanently locked or stuck, reducing our ability to use that facility because it cut the toilets down to just one. How can they not know that? Don't they check them and clean them? My one complaint about the cabin was having only one outlet, which was taken up with the fridge and microwave plugs. Someone before me had wisely unplugged the microwave, so I had one spot that I could use to charge my phone while there. Otherwise, what are your options? Really, guys, would one more outlet closer to the beds be such a bad idea? I know I would appreciate it and that one thing will make me hesitate before renting those cabins again. Will I stay at the KOA again? Yes, because as someone else said, it's obvious that they care and it's run by nice people. The store is nice to have, and the pool was great. What really discouraged me has nothing to do with how they run it. On July 5th or 6th people came in that didn't believe in picking up their own garbage, so a clean bathroom quickly went to being one that looked like it belonged in a NYC subway. Paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor of the bathroom. C'mon guys, just because you're pigs doesn't mean you have to ruin it for...
