First off, this is a very nice campground, aesthetically, and the people who manage it are very hospitable and helpful. They invested a significant amount of money in the facilities and the campground overall. The biggest challenge and the reason that I give this three stars are the way the sites and the hook ups are laid out. Most of the sites are on a slope. The part that we did not like at all is that the sites out back to back so they only had to put one set of utilities to cover two sites. As a result, if you are in the site on the low side of the utilities, your septic hose runs up hill. We had to wait until we left and move to a vacant site on the uphill side of a set of utilities to empty our tanks. They have one water hook up that is shared with a "Y" connector with the neighboring site that backs up to you. There is a total lack of privacy as the neighboring site that faces you is just...
Read moreBrand new and working on the rest of the park and already a great place. Jeannette runs the office and is the best, super friendly. Brandon keeps the place up and is fantastic. Never met a stranger kind of guy that will go above and beyond for us. I can see this place being potentially difficult to get into in the future once the casino down the road opens. It is clean, centrally located to so many of our favorite things– hiking, the lake, and more, and has wonderful amenities!
