IF YOU LOVE BUGS THIS IS THE HOTEL FOR YOU! Took several minutes of dinging the bell up front before a lady came in from outside and I found out her husband was in the other room watching sports as I stood at the desk waiting for assistance. I should have left then, but decided to stick it out even when the lady quoted me a higher price than what they said over the phone. She then had to talk with the husband to find out what price they said. After being in the room for a couple minutes I found the locks barely worked on the door, the room was infested with so many bugs I could have started an insect farm. From cockroaches, water bugs, flies, spiders, nats, mosquitos, and even more bugs that I couldn’t begin to tell you what they were. The bugs were on all the furniture, walls, floors and even in the sink, toilet, shower, fridge, and microwave. The fridge temperature knob fell off, sink had a tooth paste cap stuck in the drain, the wall where the table is had food all over it, holes in the door, toilet leaked all over and had soaked the floor by morning and it had a thick coat of mold between the water tank and the toilet seat, the sink was good at splattering water everywhere. I decided not to shower due to the disgusting look of the shower head (presumably mold as well) and when I went to bed I noticed the furniture was all worn out. There were holes in the chair and bed sheets as well as stains on the lamp and chair with furniture all scuffed up. I found out they have some very beautiful furniture in their room when walking by the window, and the curtains are open you can see a beautiful black sectional laid out but they can’t take better care of the rest of the hotel. I didn’t get bed bugs from the bed I slept in but one of my business partners got bed bugs from a separate room that same night. We also had great Mexican music from some pickup trucks at the end of the parking lot playing as loudly as possible all the way until midnight until my business partner who was closer to them got annoyed and walk over to them and told them to turn the music off. They seemed to take his warning seriously because by morning when I left around 6 they were all gone. Don’t let the good reviews on this place fool you, they allow the people who write good reviews to stay at cheaper prices since they are frequent customers. Take my advice and get a different hotel, you couldn’t pay me to sleep in this hotel again. All night I was feeling bugs on me and I end up with no...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel on May 10th 2017, and was absolutely thrilled with it!! The rooms are nice and clean, the TV was professionally mounted on the wall as so it was very veiwable from all areas!! The beds seem to be a little outdated, but we're still good to sleep on!!! I went to the front office at around 10 pm to get some extra blankets (personal preference), and the gentleman came right out and was very friendly and helpful!!! He also told me that he was the new owner and was working hard to get the hotel to the way it needs to be for customers! And I'm telling you it shows!! I am usually very leary about mom and pop hotels as alot of them these days seem to be on a minimal budget due to what I would like to think is big hotel chains taking business away!! Not Greensburg Inn!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I will be staying there every time I'm in the area!! And I will be through every week for the next month!! And I'm looking forward to my stay!! And this review is coming from a pilot car driver that stays in hotels more than I get to sleep in my new bed at home!! I highly recommend Greensburg Inn for anyone looking for a good affordable clean hotel, with friendly staff!!! 5 out...
Read morePulled into the parking lot of Greensburg Inn in Greensburg, KS around 8:30 PM on a Monday evening. There were about 5 vehicles in the parking lot. My partner and I walked into the office and told the lady behind the counter we needed two rooms with a bed in each room. She didn't seem to understand. Asked if pets were allowed and she said yes but with an extra charge. We were willing to pay the extra charge. We had 4 dogs in a variety of sizes. We told her the dogs were well behaved and would not bark or make a mess on the floor. She didn't seem to understand how many rooms we wanted. Clearly a language barrier. I told her my partner and would share a room with 2 dogs and our traveling companion would need a separate room and would keep 2 dogs with him. She changed her mind and decided she did not want permit us to stay so we left. I don't know if the clerk at Greensburg Inn objected to the 4 dogs or the fact that my partner were going to share a room. I suspected she objected to my partner and I staying in a room together because when we walked back outside to leave we could here a dog in one of the rooms barking continuously so they didn't seem to object to dogs staying in...
