I’ve really tried with this restaurant. I’m all for supporting local businesses; which is why I kept trying Crazy Mule. I have eaten there about a dozen times since I live and work nearby. Each experience has been mediocre at best. That last two times was the end of my rope. First, I called to make a to go order and the lady hung up on me. I called again and no one answered. I went to the restaurant and the gentleman there was very kind and helpful. I’m pretty sure we have a cook, the server popped out but didn’t help me at all. I ordered and went on my way. Today, I called and ordered a to go order which was a chef salad. She asked if I would build my own or if she would make it. I asked her to make which she seemed unhappy about. Then, I arrived she charged me $16!!! I thought that was high and asked if that was right and she said yes, but I just paid for it because she was flustered. I checked the menu and it said it’s about $9. She overcharged me. I will no longer go to Crazy Mule and will suggest to other people they find somewhere else to eat.

I stopped here for lunch on a Wednesday at noon. I would say the place was about half full. The restaurant is larger than it looks from the outside. I was told to sit anywhere, and I took a table. My server came right over and took my drink order and gave me a menu. The menu was not large, but for a breakfast or lunch stop, it’s fine. When she returned with my drink, she took my order for a Club Sandwich with Chips. My lunch was served right away, within five minutes, and it looked very good. The bread was only cut in half instead of quarters and it made the sandwich easier to eat. This sandwich had a lot of meat, it was really a very good Club Sandwich. The chips were nothing special, but they went really well with the sandwich. For what this lunch cost, I thought I got great value for the money. I would most definitely eat here again.

This spot is a fantastic pit stop if you're passing nearby, and it's definitely worth a short detour. Almost everything was cooked to order, ensuring the food was fresh and delicious. The prices were reasonable, offering good value for the quality. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience. The place itself has a charming old-school atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We enjoyed a delicious burger, which was juicy and flavorful, accompanied by crispy tater tots and a side of fresh veggies. It's clear that the kitchen takes pride in their work, and the attention to detail is evident in every bite. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I'd highly recommend stopping by if you get the chance.

Everyone was nice, the bar drinks were good, great environment, but the kitchen needs some help.

I just want to mention things that need some attention, because this place could be really good.

Sweet potato fries served burnt, queso served room temperature, the bean dip the same temperature as the queso—-kind of confusing, it had a sprinkle of cheese on the top which was partially melted. Was the queso really supposed to be room temperature, or bubbly hot like America is used to? Potatoes were half cold, half hot—-but they had great flavor. They were good, just not evenly heated. Reheating made-ahead food needs some attention. The made to order food was hot and good, other than the fries that were served burnt. We ate them though. Wasn’t exceptional. The place could be memorable, for good reasons, if they fixed the issues with reheating the made-ahead foods (queso, bean dip, potatoes). Homemade chips tasted like the oil was old and needed changed, still edible. We kind of wondered if we might get sick, from the reheated foods but we didn’t (: I thought about sending back the made ahead foods for a good nuking in the microwave, but I couldn’t bring myself to crush the waitresses spirits.

I liked the creative menu items (: Grilled PB & J, Gourmet grilled cheese. Those were good!

We drive through every six months or so, and enjoy sitting down for a meal and drinks! Hope we can try again...

I was so disappointed. A friend and I, along with my ten year old son, went about 30 minutes out of our way while travelling to go through Greensburg to eat lunch and visit the museum on our way home. I have never been so disappointed in my decision as I do this on most road trips in an attempt to support small, local communities. The service was terrible. Our waitress was rude and seemed irritated with my decision to not eat the buffet. I genuinely felt like she was so irritated, in fact, that I was scared to tell her that my chicken strips were rubbery, fries were gross or that I needed a refill. She was very pleasant to my friend but she was less than thrilled with my business for some reason. It was very strange. When I paid for mine and my son's meal, I was really surprised at the cost considering our meals were listed at under $9 each and we had one soda and a water. It came out to over $27. I just wanted out of there and didn't want to continue to be treated poorly so I unfortunately paid and left without saying a word. After reading the reviews now that I'm home, it makes sense. The waitress appears to have been the owner or something and it sounds like she may not be very welcoming to outsiders or people that do not look like her. I will not be returning. Some advice: if you're traveling to or through Greensburg, eat...

Note: Giving them 1 star is generous.

Our order: Cheese sticks, was asked if we wanted marinara or ranch, chose ranch $4.95 Van Special, hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, salad, and green beans for $16.95 Double cheeseburger and Onion Rings $12.95 2 soft Drinks $6.00 (I can’t remember the exact price I looked at past menus and choose the highest price seen) The meal/drinks itself should be around 40, Charged $53.48 When asked about the price, she said that we charge to use a card about $3 and charge for the ranch $1, she did not want to itemize anything, so frustrated I just left. I would like to know what else was charged and hidden from me.

Food was terrible, no seasoning on the meat, potatoes were not smooth, large clumps and little clump almost gritty like, green beans were ok. Salad bar was the only good thing. Hamburger definitely tasted of extremely cheap frozen meat, no seasoning. The onion rings and cheese sticks were good.

Service is terrible, the only time any employee was seen, when they took the order, and brought the food out. They did not check on our table once and there was only 1 other table there and they were just sitting and chatting.

They do not even advise you of any extra charges.

Wish I would have...
