We reserved our site w/ Mill Creek 2 days prior to our arrival. We confirmed the site would handle a 35' 5th Wheel and was a pull thru. We were only passing thru and knew we were driving a long day and had to leave early the next day, so did not want to unhook. We were told that we would receive a confirmation via email.||||I had made the reservation at 11 am and by 4:30 I still had not received confirmation so I called again. I got voicemail and left a message.||||The next morning I still did not have confirmation so called again and was told Yes we were confirmed, and yes it was a pull thru for a 35' 5th Wheel.||||By the day of our arrival, still no confirmation so called again. Again I was confirmed it was a pull thru for a 35' 5th wheel.||||We arrived after hours as planned and found our registration. They put us in a BACK IN site. The site was extremely narrow and had a large hole in the area where you back in. To make matters worse, the front of the site had a broken slab of concrete that stuck up, making it difficult to back in without scraping it with the underside of the rig/truck. We called the after hours number and were told that the manager would be right over to our site to help.||||A lady and her husband pull up in a golf cart and when we explain the situation she tells us that reservations go to a call center and they don't know the campground, and she is left to deal with the issues. We should not have been told they had a pull thru site for us, because in fact, they only have 5 pull thru sites and they weren't available! ||||Upon further discussion she starts telling me about how it is only her and 1 girl in the office and when I press her I find out it was her and her 1 girl that took my reservations! I spoke to her staff the first two times and her the 3rd times. She was trying to blame someone else when it was her!! She knew it was her!||||Furthermore, when I showed them the big hole in the space and the large cracked concrete and expressed my worry about not wanting to damage our new tires, rig, or truck, her husband responded that if I wanted a perfect site I could go up to Fort Walton Beach and pay $3,000 and night, this is Kissimmee! (BTW, we already had reservations for Fort Walton and $3K a night is a bit of an exaggeration!).||||We kept pushing them for another site we were given the option of taking a pull site they had suddenly remembered. As we were riding to look at the pull thru site, the manager changed her story and said that her assistant had assigned us this pull thru and that is why she told us on the phone we had a pull thru site.||||The Pull thru site was skinnier that the one we were assigned and had trees on the lot so we couldn't get into that one either. Leaving us no choice we took the backed in.||||We are experienced RVer's and it took us 2 hours to back into that site, one inch at a time! This site was just that bad. Plus we had to unhook. ||||The other trailers were packed in like cattle. Most of the other rigs were smaller and they seemed to be fine. ||||Overall, the fact that the lady lied to us, tried to blame someone else, and her husband's snarky comment gets them 1 star!||||If your rig is any bigger than 25' stay away...
Read moreWe had a wonderful experience renting one of the charming tiny homes at Mill Creek. Although there was a slight mix-up during check-in, Tom, the property manager, promptly resolved the issue by answering our call and arriving right away to assist us. His attentiveness and responsiveness were greatly appreciated, setting a positive tone for our stay.
The location of the property was extremely convenient, particularly for our purpose, as we needed to be close to Silver Spurs Arena, which was a mere 3.6 miles away. This made getting to our event a breeze and allowed us to avoid any unnecessary travel stress.
Upon arriving at the property, we were pleasantly surprised by its impeccable cleanliness and the serene atmosphere it offered. The presence of a lovely pool added to the overall appeal, giving us a refreshing spot to unwind after a day of activities.
The tiny house itself was a true gem, immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The fully equipped kitchen was a standout feature, allowing us to prepare our meals at our convenience. Cooking during our vacation not only saved us money but also gave us a chance to enjoy some homemade dishes.
In conclusion, our stay at Mill Creek's tiny home was delightful. Despite the initial check-in confusion, Tom's quick response and helpfulness turned it into a minor hiccup. The property's convenient location, cleanliness, and well-appointed tiny house exceeded our expectations, providing us with a memorable and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend Mill Creek to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and will definitely consider returning...
Read moreWe are inexperienced campers with a small travel trailer. Got a good deal on a month's stay through Ricky at SunResorts (great guy, by the way). The park is clean, lots of beautiful trees and streets are in good shape. Close to everything. We would have liked to be near trees (there are some really lovely shady spots near the creek) but being close to the pool and showers worked out well for us.||||The showers, bathrooms and laundry facilities were well maintained and clean. Staff (Hi Kenneth!) was very hard at work all the time and did everything from mowing, trash pickup, propane tank fills and connections, vehicle washing. Long-term residents and short term visitors had nothing but nice things to say about the maintenance staff. Lots of dogs, well behaved. Nice place to walk every morning and evening. ||||This is an older park, and we felt safe in our little spot (thanks to our neighbor - Hi again, Kenneth!). We hear improvements are in progress, cement pad for all spots coming soon. Our spot was small, but the price was good. Only complaint was that, being so close to the club house, we had to deal with loud music on the weekends (thankfully, our air conditioner muffled most of the sound). ||||We asked some seasoned visitors how the park compared to others they've stayed at; they said it was nice enough, and quieter than most. We liked it, and would recommend the park...
