This is a great location. Close to most everything. What is not close(walkable) is a very short drive. Cabs are very reasonable; $10 to $15 to most parts of the island. Staff was great. Property is modern and rooms are modern with USB ports near the bed. Kitchenet had an apartment sized frig and adequate accoutrements for dining and there is a dish washer! Only problem was as seen in the pics. Kind of a tacky to expect a hotel guest to accept a campground experience in the loo. I mentioned the oversight to the front desk and was told Corporate was not responsive to their requests. Last but not least is the very poor quality of the tv. The picture was blurry like when watching old analog tv programs.Really wanted to enjoy watching NFL on a Thursday night.😩 Happy Traveling

This is the view from the balcony of 317 the room was super nice and clean bed was cozy shower was nice and the kitchenette was very helpful and the full size fridge and freezer was nice could of done without a dishwasher especially when all you have is a microwave and sink it comes with all the dishes you might need tho it's just a nice little place in the heart of downtown

Very nice accommodations. Breakfast wasn't much to write home about but then it was a typical continental breakfast. Rooms were very nice. Most staff were very friendly. Some I got the impressing I was bothering them with my question. Overall, good experience. If stay here again.

Do not let the square basic exterior of this hotel keep you away.||||The rooms are roomy and comfortable. We upgraded at the last minute to a harbor-front room with a king bed. Great decision! We slept with the doors open most nights for the cool breeze (but be aware that it is a working harbor and somewhat noisy at times. If you shut the door, you cannot hear the noise). The bed was very comfortable. The room has lots of drawers and hanging space for unpacking.||||Everything was very clean. No housekeeping unless you request it (due to Covid).||||Although the description says it's a full kitchen, there is no stove top or oven, but there is a microwave. Nice size refrigerator, sink and dishes. Another room my friend was in had a single burner, so maybe if you ask at the front desk.||||The bathroom was large with a great shower and lots of storage space here as well. (I love to unpack when I'm staying for a whole week)||||There is a little onsite market for sodas and snacks, and interestingly, a premie baby's clothing section.||||One note- don't get the room next to the ice-maker. The staff empties the ice maker each morning early early and it's loud.||||The hotel is a perfect location. We walked to all of the restaurants and to the harbor.||||I was really impressed by the front desk staff. All were so friendly and helpful. They are also vigilant about guests wearing masks and Covid safety. One of our party had not tested before arriving in AK, and was required to quarantine until he had tested negative.(Although a nuisance for him, I was really glad they were enforcing the rules.)||||I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again on...

The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff was nice and the location was good. The place was filthy. Our original room was not cleaned upon arrival…which was no big deal. It’s happened before with other places. They had us wait for about 45 minutes while they cleaned another room. That room was dirty too. Hair everywhere in the bathroom and bedding, stains on the bathroom floor and kitchenette surfaces. Lip marks on clean glasses. It smelled musty and gross. We ended up asking for clean sheets so at least we knew we were not sleeping in someone else’s dirt. We just put up with the other stuff until we checked out. It probably wouldn’t have been such a big deal, but we paid $300 per night. We expected much more than what we got. We will...
