Alutiiq Museum - Preserve, Explore, Share Small museum with archaeological artifacts, natural history displays, and contemporary art. The staff is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable regarding the museum and surrounding area. I really enjoyed learning about the Alutiiq people, viewing the large grey whale skeleton and the contemporary painting of a Kodiak bear.

Their gift shop also offers plenty of items made by local Alutiiq artisans. This place is definitely a must if you find...
