I have to give this a 1star as it seems to have breed restrictions and after viewing comments from the owners they don't seem as friendly as others say they are. I have never camped somewhere where a dog breed has been restricted but just the dog(s) involved in the incident have been. Any breed of dog can and will be aggressive if they or their human family are threatened. Studies have shown that the Chihuahua breed is the most aggressive breed but yet it's not on this campgrounds list or any others. Studies have also shown that smaller breeds of dogs of any kind are the most agrressive compared to large dog breeds. I had a friend that I grew up with get torn up by a small mixed breed dog and receive over 300 stitches on her face and scalp. Do you have a leash law in your campground??? If not, maybe you should. Please DO NOT reply to me with any of your rude comments that I have seen posted to others, just take this as some friendly feedback from someone who is trying to find the right place to stay for her family to visit when visiting relatives close by. Also, one of our dogs is BEAGLE/PITBULL mixed and has saved my husband's life 4 times in the last 2 yrs. when he has had a diabetic seizure.. She is also a rwgitered therapy dog because of this, but according to YOUR list, she isn't allowed there. Oh, the lady you asked about not being a regiter camper, did you ever consider that just MAYBE she is part of a party that is camping there??? Do you make everyone write down the names of everyone that is in the group that is camping? Unfortunately, I never did see a positive remark from the owner(s) that post on here. Even a simple thank you is...
Read moreWhile I didn't get to enjoy my campsite as much as I would have liked, I stayed here so that I would be able to participate in a BBQ championship in Delphi this past weekend. I had brought a trailer with all my gear and was told I would not fit on the selected camp site(my fault I didn't add notes or length of the trailer). They were still able to accommodate me with a different spot that was a full hookup, which usually costs more. They upgraded for free and it was even a pull through! They made things very nice as I left at 4:00 in the morning. Everyone was super friendly during the visit. Had a camp store for everything you forgot (bug spray!!!) and a gas station right off the main drag for energy drinks and ice. Very happy with my stay and I'll be reserving next year when I...
Read moreThe sites were nicely wooded and well spaced. There was a community event happening as we left and I feel that the campground is involved with the local community in a positive way. I was disappointed by the messy appearance when you first drive in. There was a lot of equipment and garage door left open and the pool was surrounded by a chain link fence and green. The pool was not open, but not pleasant to look at. it was irritating was that someone was cutting grass on our spot while my husband was making lunch and throwing grass into the area. My mother heard the mower throwing stuff on the RV outside walls from in the unit. We were there in the middle of the week in an off season, so there was no other involvement with the campground's staff, so there is nothing to...
