Homey, comfortable, no-frills kind of place. Stayed for 4 nights on business. Staff was eager to help with anything I needed. Very attentive and kind. The lobby was nice, clean, and smelled nice. Check in was quick and painless. The room door lock/key card panel on the first room I was given wasn't operating correctly so after the clerk came to check it out, I was given a new room, which looked better than the first, although they both were extremely clean and remodeled. I was pleasantly surprised to see that a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, hangers and a coffee maker (complete with cups WITH LIDS! sugar, cream, and stirrers). The lamps all have 2 outlets and there are plenty throughout the room :) there was an alarm clock, wake up calls available as well, and the room phone works! The night clerk was sweet and left extra soap and shampoo at my door when I called the front desk and asked her at 3am, lol. She seemed happy to help and didn't seem bothered at all. There is still no breakfast, which was disappointing, but the front desk makes coffee every morning and there's a Waffle House just down the street (which was indeed "Awful" -Review on THAT place to follow, horrible!) The hotel seems to welcome pet owners with open arms, they have a small dog run/dog park complete with waste receptacles and baggies, they also do not charge a deposit for animals, which is unheard of. Read moreIf I could do no stars I would I in all my life I have never been to a motel and left a bad review but this place has stole from me and my roommate since day one we had a lot of things mysteriously come up missing so we set up a trap to see if it was room service took a picture to verify came back to check and our money was missing along with our wallets and a few other valuables so if you want the house keeping to steal from u come to this place wouldn’t recommend to anyone !!!!!! We even had to call the cops they were all being rude about it and not professional they didn’t want to run cameras for us saying “it’s too much footage” so we can’t do nothing until we had to get rude when they did finally let us run the footage it showed there whole staff going into one room to clean it so the cops could do nothing but file a report so just be aware of this place there slimy people and will try to take your identity if given the opportunity !!!! Also there are multiple fights we were sleeping and heard arguing/fighting and someone broke a window so do what you will with this info my advice...

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my experience at the Red Roof Inn LaGrange. I am sorry to hear about the issue i experienced with my reservation and the service i received by you responding to my review to look like a good business without addressing the issue. Me being charged for a room I didn't use. Your apologies that i felt that way do absolutely nothing about my issues with my refund. At Red Roof, if it is your intention to have my confidence in your abilities to prevent similar problems in the future then you should refund my money. Please know that if you value us as your guests and appreciate our business then a refund is surely the next step! .... If what you say is that " you would love to have another chance to provide you with a better experience at our hotel the next time you're in town", then you'll refund my money.
