A fellow named Doug is the owner of this little park. He was very very helpful in getting us into our tight spot. He also helped me repair a broken mudflap on my motorhome. It appears that 90% of the park is occupied by full-time fifth wheel or pull behind trailer occupants. I did see four or five other motorhomes in the park, but they also appear to be full-time. For a small park, this was one of the cleanest and nicest I have seen in a long time. The Wi-Fi worked well, but no cable TV. There is no pool or hot tub, but the park is nicely laid out around a small pond in the middle. Great place for overnight stopping. We were here in mid September 2021. I would definitely stop here again on my way to upper Michigan.

Life is Simple: Eat, sleep, camp! Great location, nice and quiet campground for meeting friends and relaxing. Doug and Kelly are awesome, personable, and professional. You will like the full service sites.

Clean, easy in, 50 amp service and clean water. Doug the owner is awesome. He worked his butt off due to flooding to get our site ready before we arrived.

I was upset because I had been searching around and called this location and was looking for tent camping for a fun weekend with my wife.

The staff either was impatient or having a bad day and sounded kindof hasty explaining that there was no tent camping available anymore at the campground. To be fair, I hadn’t ever stayed there before, but was also surprised that they didn’t offer it. I guess some locations only do RV camping. But being new to camping, I have been learning where accepts tents and where doesn’t.

I had initially written a poor review in my frustration, but the owner corrected me, saying that because I hadn’t stayed at the location and that they haven’t offered tent camping in many years, it wasn’t fair to review poorly.

I do understand that reviews impact business, and I pride myself to offer fair reviews. I do think that the response to my review was also hasty to judge my point of view and was frustrated.

I deleted my previous review and will say that this place is probably a great place for RV’s and I won’t judge how beautiful it probably is there.

My brief interaction with what I had with them just...

I've been camping here for over 5 years! I love coming to Michigan and spending time with my son in the camper.. it's very expensive, the owner raises the price EVERY year. Hes cheap . Sorry! He doesnt leave the sign on at night , so you cant even find the place , you either pass it or either get into an accident . Just trying to find the place Friday night I almost crashed . The owner should keep the light on . I dont recommend the place if you have children, there is absolutely nothing for them to do . Besides the tiniest park ever 😳 they have a pool next door at the place next door. But you cant pay a daily fee anymore! You have to buy a $200 pass for the season LOL . Dont bother , there's a free beach a couple mins away , also a season pass for the beach across the street is like 40$ . It's just a little ridiculous. We won't be back next year. Which is sad . A lot of people are saying they wont be returning . Pay tons , get little ....
