Spring Brook Vacation Home Resort — Hotel in Lake Delton

DO NOT STAY HERE! SPRINGBROOK HAS DONE NOTHING TO MAKE IT RIGHT! NO ONE A CONTACTED US OR REACHED OUT TO OFFER US A PARTIAL REFUND OR MAYBE ANOTHER STAY IN A DIFFERENT HOME! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER AT ALL! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

We recently stayed at 330 Lakeshore in the spring brook area and I would highly recommend no one book this home. We specifically rented this house because it had a pool table in the basement so we could play both nights we were there with my family. After getting to the house and realizing the pictures on the VRBO are not what the house actually is like once your inside it. I have pictures from the stay to back this up. The pool table was decimated it was absolutely 100% not playable. The felt was destroyed it wasn't level there were holes in it and you could lift the felt right off the table. This was just the beginning! On the main floor bedroom with the king bed the fan didn't work. The main floor bathroom vent fan didn't work at all and you could see where the wall is starting to fall apart. When going from the kitchen to the basement the door and frame could be seen visibly moving when the door was opened or closed meaning the entire door frame was loose! The bathroom in the basement had black mold growing above the shower on the Ceiling!!!! Along with the caulking around the base of the toilet. The ring around the water temperature control was cracked. And the shower door was literally falling apart as the caulk was no longer holding it together! The carpet when walking into the front door was dingy and completely a different color because there wasn't rugs to wipe your feet off or take your shoes off. Outside on the deck numerous posts from the decks railing were missing or broken off! The mattress that are in this house are also the absolute cheapest and worst mattresses I have ever slept on and I have slept on some cheap mattresses before! The entire house was over heated except for the basement which was freezing cold and barely had any vents coming out to warm the basement. It was so warm on the main and upper floors we had to leave windows cracked and the sliding glass door open part of the way to counter the oppressive heat from trying to warm up the basement! For the couple thousand dollars spent by renters each weekend this house should be immaculate! Stay away from this place no matter what if I could have left a negative star review...

I have hosted two events this past year at Spring Brook Resort - and I cannot say enough nice things about this venue and its staff! The first event was a bridal shower I threw for my sister! Everything was perfect- it was held in the large event room (that is gorgeous, with cathedral ceilings and HUGE windows that overlook the golf course) that is just off of the sports bar and I was concerned that there was sports memorabilia on the walls - but the event coordinator Kyla, assured me it would be removed for the shower. Not only was the sports memorabilia taken down, but the room was completely transformed even more beautiful than I could have imagined! Kyla even put beautiful large trees in the room, that were lit with tiny white lights that just made the room look so elegant. Also, since I had never planned anything like this before Kyla helped me think of so many nice details that I never would have thought of on my own: Like matching the satin napkins, and the tiny colored stones in the center peices to the wedding colors, arranging the tables to help the room seem full, without feeling over crowded, etc! My sister actually cried when she saw the room - it was such a special moment! The manager Scott even ran out to RadioShack at the last minute because I asked if I could play my own music (via my phone) through their sound system so I could create the perfect ambiance! The wait staff was so efficient and courteous- the food was delicious and came out at the perfect time and the prices were totally reasonable for the large amount of food that we got!

Then my best friend decided to get married there and again the Spring Brook staff really went above and beyond! Kyla even went out and bought the bride jewelry because the bride forgot hers at home- hours away! Kyla was a total lifesaver who made what could have been a terribly stressful day into an amazing celebration- you couldn't find a more caring and accommodating event planner!!! She has an eye for the tiny details that really made our events so special! Everything, from start to finish was just perfect at both events! If you need a venue for any occasion I highly recommend...

I've rented vacation homes here several years for my birthday, but this year was very disappointing, this home needs major upgrades, we finally came to Springbrook on a wonderful weekend that the weather was amazing so we planned all these backyard events , much to our surprise we had to accommodate everything for the backyard , their patio set was so destroyed the cushions was full of holes and had bird droppings all over it , the table was so rusty that one of the legs was so wobbly we couldn't use it, we open the grill and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in yrs, not to mention I walk off the steps to the patio and one of the boards come up and I fall down the stairs , I'm just grateful it was me that fell and not my 80 yr old mother in law nor my 66yr old mother , we had to go to walmart and buy folding table and chair sets and a grill just to accommodate us , also there was a sun porch with a broken door that kept opening and slamming shut all night .. it didn't lock nor did it close so how did no one notice this before we arrived there cause it was very obvious it was a broken door . Plus the kitchen sink dripped constantly all night, and the toilet seat on the first and second floor was so badly worn out you could see the wood broken off, this was very disappointing and embarrassing seeing as I've rented other properties that was way cheaper and very well maintained.$1700 and this property was not worth it, our checkout was 11 I'm sure they noticed we left at 7am cause everyone was over it and the...
