My family and wife's family have been coming to Spring Brook for Dells visits the last 5 years. This is the second time we ordered from the restaurant, and man, is this trash. My wife's food was "okay" for getting fettuccine from a non-Italian place, but their definition of a 12 oz. ribeye is absolute deception. The first ribeye I ordered and took back to our rental looked boiled. Medium order, severely overcooked. The cook wasn't even close. Temp off by a long shot. I got about 1/3 through it and decided to head back to talk to a manager because it was just too bonedry. Unfortunately, no shift supervisor or manager was around, granted, near closing. No foul. I was able to get a re-fire, but this one was worse! The ribeye is about as thick as 3 stacked DVDs, just the disks, not cases. I have it sitting in the fridge so I can go back tomorrow morning and talk to a manager. Considering guests can easily spend a couple thousand or more to stay here for a week or longer, it seems like the restaurant is pretty trashed. I asked the bartender if they have a grill. They don't, at all! And they certainly have no idea how to pan sear and oven finish a steak. Both orders looked boiled, like it was boiled either in a pan or in a microwave. Just absolutely the most wretched steak I've ever had in 39 years, as a Nebraska kid. My advice? Go somewhere else if you want a steak. All this for almost $30? You've got to be kidding me, Spring Brook! WTH! I didn't even bother trying to eat the re-fire. Not worth my time. I'd rather ask the manager why in the world they're serving such a poor cut of steak that is...

Writing this review after recently staying at the resort. This sports bar was the first place we stopped after a very long road trip, we we're hungry and wanting something decent, and decided to walk on over and check it out. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately and the waitress comes out, she seemed very neutral. I couldn't tell if she was happy or very upset. Not very welcoming.. it was kind of eerie. Ended up ordering a "jumbo" hotdog for 10 dollars, and my friends ordered some sandwiches. The "jumbo" 1/4lb hotdog seemed very small, it was pretty much a plain ballpark hotdog boiled, with a very very small scoop of fries. Everyone at the table was almost upset for even ordering here, small portions, very bland, no flavor, extremely high priced items that do not match quality/portions of ANY restaurant I have been to in my life. I get that it's a resort and all, I expected food prices to be higher, but this establishment is taking advantage over their guests in a way that is not right. You could go to a fine restaurant in the dells and get a well crafted burger/ sandwich, etc and it'll be half the price, flavorful, and 2x the portion size. Spring Brook Bar & Grill was a huge let down for everyone at our table, and we were left hungry after eating. Instead of taking advantage over tourists to squeeze more money out of a meal, at least make sure the quality & portions of what's coming out matches the price. Quit charging fine dining prices for sonic...

Wrong decision to Google sports bars in the dells! I'll never return to this place! Went here to watch the wisconsin badgers game and walked in and sat at the bar. We were asked what we would like to drink but never asked again if we would like to see a menu, we had to ask 45 min later when the bar tender came back finally. We finally ordered and when the food came back it wasn't right, the bar tender seemed to help out, talk and pay attention to the wait staff that was seated across from us at the bar helping them and getting them drinks. We were there over 2 hours and asked 2 times if we would like another drink. The bar tender was JP, and the other was Sandy. Sandy knew we were upset that the food was wrong and JP never even asked how our food was,so she offered us a beer onto the house but after 30 min of waiting we said we wanted our check! The worst thing Is a group of men sat next to us and ordered beers, when they were served the beers were warm so they asked for cold ones after trying them. I watched the bar tender JP not dump the beer but put it in the ice cooler that's so unsanitary! I will say the food was good but bar tenders were not on there...

Ordered two of the Bluegill Friday Fish dinners for takeout. The person who answered the phone was very friendly and easy to work with. Unfortunately the fish was cold when we got it home (which wasn't far). It was much more "fry" than fish. The fish meat itself was so thin that you really didn't taste it through the fry batter. I ordered a baked potato with mine and it was still warm, moist and good. The other dinner was ordered with tater tots which were warm and still crunchy. The coleslaw was...coleslaw. A good balance of slaw to dressing. And then there was the caramel something roll, which was really more of a fried doughnut. I didn't care for it. My friend said she liked hers but it was much more a doughnut. Give me a corn fritter and I'd be much happier! Price for what you get I think was a little high. I understand that restaurants are hurting in these times, but I'd rather have better quality (not necessarily more) for the price.
