I came here on apr 6 at 4 AM looking to get a room until that Monday before we hit the road. Checking in went smoothly as far as the transaction. Coming into the room is where the horror starts. The room we had was a non smoking room but smelled heavily like cigarettes. Only lights that worked were the ones for the bathroom. We had only 2 outlets that worked in the whole room. The tub had someone’s piss in it. They really tried us with the towels. They had huge black and brown marks on every towel. We had to go out and buy towels and cleaning supplies. It only got worse after we finally was able to get in the bed which was around 7:30. The bed caved in the middle badly so we could not get comfortable at all and at this point we’re sleep deprived. A little before 11 AM we woke up to pounding and yelling at the door telling us we needed to check out even though we paid for more than 1 night. I opened the door and had to find myself arguing with this buck toothed woman that was very hard to understand. No matter how many times I told her we paid 168 for us to stay until that Monday and just got there that night but she was more argumentative than anything and told us we needed to check out. Ayer going back and forth she realized that we did check in that night and to be out on Monday. No apology whatsoever. The two nights we “slept” here was by far the worst and not worth the money at all . We overslept and it was 10:50 and the day we had to checkout and had to experience the rude woman again. And her ugliness showed even more we were getting ready to checkout as fast as we can and she was knocking on the door while I was getting dressed and my partner was in the shower. I tried to explain to her that we were running behind and needed a little more time. She said rudely that we needed to be gone in 10 minutes. Left here with two aching backs and being a dissatisfied first...
Read moreI called Westmont Hospitality Group-WHG about this issue only to find out this is not a real Westmont (they just slapped the name on there) -I was only there for 45 minutes. This was a day before a hurricane, I went to drop off some food for my cousin who was seeking shelter at this motel. As I was leaving a woman stopped me, who said she was the owner came and yelled at me because I didn’t see their 3x5 index card that says “no visitors”, as if I would have comply to this ridiculous request in the middle of a natural disaster. Don’t stay here. Seeing as how I couldn’t leave a complaint with WHG I went ahead and made a complaint to DPBR about other issues I saw with this motel. While filing the complaint, I found that DPBR has been to this location multiple times because of verified consumer complaints. Please look at these...
Read moreWe went there during Hurricane Milton, first they don't have a lobby, a person behind a piece of glass and speaker hole , and homeless people out front. We were quoted $186 for 2 night and they would waive the pet fee. Well, we went in the room and wasn't too bad until we saw cock roaches, beds were so uncomfortable and 1 pillow per person. Then the night Milton hit the ceiling started leaking and then coming down, you could tell it has been repaired several times. Ok, then, when checking out, they said we owed $290 dollars, price gouging at its best! So after a screaming match by the owners, said "We told you leave last night!" "And this was an act of God" No refund! With that being said, we disputed the charges on the card and called the attorney General for gouging . Please do not give your money to this roach motel...
