Camposanto ATX Glamping — Hotel in Lakeway

Camposanto ATX is truly a glamper’s paradise. From the aesthetic décor to the functionality of the living spaces, every detail put into the “glampsite” was so thoughtful and made for an enjoyable experience. Our family stayed here in both yurts during the soft opening and had a wonderful time. The yurts were beautifully decorated and very comfortable--the A/C in the yurts kept them nice and cool. The outside kitchen was outfitted with modern appliances and everything we needed to cook family meals, and the bathrooms are gorgeously decorated and clean. The grounds are well kept and the cooling pool (hot tub) was a welcome treat during the hot days. The neighborhood is eclectic but quiet and peaceful, and the property has an external fence around it that gave us a lot of privacy. Our kids loved exploring the neighborhood, and there is a lot to do with Lake Travis just a few minutes’ walk away, but our favorite activity was being able to unplug and hang out on the peaceful property grounds. We have stayed at other glamping locations with yurts before, but they were pale in comparison to the luxury and ambience provided at Camposanto. As someone who pays close attention to details, I can confidently say CampoSanto is where you want to stay on your visit to Austin. My husband and I spent three nights in the Peacock yurt and it was a perfect getaway! The owners truly put in an effort to have high-end items in their spaces (linens, art, coffee, herb garden for public use, etc). I love the juxtaposition of nature and luxury. The bed was very comfortable and the yurt was not stuffy at all. We especially loved the plush robes that we wore each morning while sipping our coffee in the sunshine. Such a nice touch! My boyfriend brought me here as a surprise for my 21st birthday, and it was the best birthday ever. So incredibly cozy and relaxing. Listening to the quiet nature while falling asleep then waking up to that gorgeous skylight with the birds singing? Amazing! The outdoor kitchen was really cool and I loved the restrooms and shower.
