What a unique place... I'm really torn about how many stars to give this place, because there were some really stressful moments, but it all worked out great in the end and I think this place has great potential... here are some Pro's and Con's:

CONS: **communication was super weird and semi-unprofessional: -- I made our reservation nearly a year in advance because of the total solar eclipse. I got a simple confirmation email, and then nothing else until about a week before our trip when I received an email with no subject line and the sender was simply, "info". -- In the confirmation email, they said to call two days before arrival to pay a damage deposit and get access code information, I called several times, left a couple messages, but no one ever answered the phone. I got a single text in response to one of my phone calls, but then when I texted back, they fell silent. Eventually I was able to communicate with them via the GoogleMaps messenger ... they sent me screenshots showing that they had been trying to call me, but I never received a call from them... really strange. I did eventually talk to someone on the phone and got got all the access codes and other arrival information, but it was really stressful the day before our arrival and felt like if I hadn't put in so much work to figure out how to communicate with them, they never would have reached out to me.

** ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION DOESN'T WORK ...since it was the solar eclipse, rental cars were hard to come by and all we could get was a small electric commenter car with a short range, thus we were relying on this EV charging station! The information on the charging station is incorrect, and they don't seem to have any sort of management strategy for the charging station. They did send an employee out to physically look at the charging station. He was very kind and turned it off and on again, but didn't seem to know much more about it than we did ... we thought it was working after turning it off/on, but then after four hours of "charging" our battery was still at the same level. We had to cut our stay short on our last morning to scramble and find another charging station nearby that would work (a warning to anyone else trying to drive an EV out here - just don't - charging stations in this area are largely NOT for public use)

** the faucet in the bathroom sprays water horizontally out of the sink. We stood to one side while using it to avoid getting wet... also no hand soap?! We moved the body wash from the shower to use as hand soap.

** curtains in the main room are tricky to close without gaps between them, maybe bring some clips or safety pins to hold them together. Also, the light from the gas station at night is pretty intense, we hung a towel in the window to obscure it's view. (We were in dome #1, I think some of the other domes have a different view)

** not the most comfortable bed... it's quite squishy and the pillows are pretty flat, so heads up if you prefer a firm bed.

** Price. Given all these cons, I'm really not sure this place is worth the price...

PROS: ** the whole dome, patio, hot tub, hammock experience is pretty great. Even with all the cons, it still felt special to be staying in a dome.

** snacks! There were a bunch of snacks and junk food available for a very reasonable $1-2/item in our room... we def got the munchies and hit these pretty hard. Oreos, Reeces, potato chips, Snickers, etc.

** hot tub. Having your own personal hot tub under the stars is pretty rad.

** wildflowers - the landscape was honestly more beautiful than the photos. Watching pollinators visit the wildflowers from our porch was really lovely.

...not really a pro or a con, but one last note of strangeness - we were hoping this place might be like a little mini eclipse festival, but it seemed like most of the domes were actually empty on what should have been their busiest...

🚨REVIEW ALERT🚨 LONG READ||( please read as we didn’t focus on the bad reviews and now here we are) possibly sec trafficking site. ||||0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. LONG REVIEW BECAUSE I MUST EXPLAIN ALL THE DETAILS. ||Let’s start with the camera facing the glass door where the restroom is located . Imagine getting out of the jacuzzi and getting out of your wet clothes naked not realizing there is a ring camera outside your glass see through door. Ring has a wide range view and zoom effect . So it can definitely be zoomed in to see whatever is trying to be seen . We paid for 2 nights to stay in a delux pod which was over $900 all to only stay 1 night and leave due to feeling so uncomfortable that we weren’t told that there will be a camera that close to the door so we felt violated like we had already been watched . I understand having cameras but placement and disclosure matters . We drove over 6 hours to come to this place and left at 5 pm a day before we had to check out due to being so uncomfortable. Now let’s move to it not being adults only. There was a lady who pulled up to her pod and had 2 kids while we were in the jacuzzi which made things weird for adults being on their anniversary trip. The first night we got there it was pouring down raining so we could not use anything on the deck such as the hammock , the electric grill (didn’t want to be electrocuted), or the jacuzzi (late that night we got in after the rain). Your car can’t be parked by the pods so you have to walk down and up a curvy hill to park and retrieve your car . So if it’s pouring down raining then you’re just soaked . They said they will charge a $200 fee for the hot tub being dirty , but it should be cleaned after each stay anyway unless it’s filthy . We watched the cleaning people come and clean two pods and they didn’t clean the hot tubs . They poured a substance in it and left it they didn’t wipe the sides or inside it at all . We could see them just sitting there through the pod on their phones not cleaning then the same day another couple pulls up to stay in the pod. You’re much closer to the other pods . They have a small grass wall but your neighbors can still see you . Lastly when we tried to book they said the pod we had was all available so that meant the smaller cheaper pods were not available but while we were there only 1 couple came and stayed in those small pods . So it was available. Everything I’m saying I can prove with video and pictures. ||||Update to review : only reason there is an update, is because I wanted to wait until I actually spoke to the site manager to see if there will be some resolution and there wasn’t. I spoke to Karen and she said she won’t refund us and said the camera didn’t see us . We all have ring and knows how it works. These people are watching naked people or kids since it’s not adults only with cameras . Anyone can have that footage. We have video proof and will be seeking a lawyer for the distress . I would not go here alone or at all . Be careful with this place I would suggest the get away tiny house...

A Magical Anniversary Stay at Udoscape Eco Glamping Resort

Our first stay at Udoscape Eco Glamping Resort was nothing short of amazing! We chose this unique getaway to celebrate our anniversary, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the perfect choice.

One of the standout aspects of our stay was the exceptional communication and responsiveness of the Udoscape team. On our first night, the water heater unexpectedly went out. We sent a quick text, and within one minute, we received a reply—impressive! Even more incredible, the issue was fully resolved just six minutes later. That level of attentiveness and service is rare and truly made us feel valued as guests.

Our Globe was pristine, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail in keeping the space clean and well-maintained did not go unnoticed. The hot tub on our private deck was a dream—perfectly warm, relaxing, and surprisingly secluded despite being in an open landscape. It was the ideal spot to unwind under the stars.

The resort’s location is another highlight. Being close to Lake Travis added an extra layer of adventure, while still having the convenience of Austin’s amenities just a short drive away. We originally planned to explore more, but we found ourselves completely content staying on the property. That alone speaks volumes about the experience Udoscape provides!

Now for our “Glows & Grows”... We had tons of glows—from the atmosphere to the accommodations to the top-tier service. Honestly, finding grows was a challenge. If we had to mention anything, it would be these two minor points:

While we fully respect and understand the Fire Marshal ordinance around parking, we noticed that if the path behind the pool extended to the parking lot, it would make for a more convenient and shorter walk instead of using the paved road.

The swing cushion on our deck was slightly faded from the sun—but this is really just a stretch to find something to critique!

As avid campers, we love the outdoors, but Udoscape provided the perfect balance of nature and resort-style comfort. It’s ideal for those who want an outdoor escape while still enjoying upscale amenities. Whether you're a seasoned camper or someone who prefers a hotel room, Udoscape caters to all comfort levels beautifully.

Overall, our stay was an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing, unique, and well-managed glamping retreat, look no further. We can’t...
