Palmdale Pelican Inn — Hotel in Lancaster

WORST HOTEL IN CALIFORNIA! If I could give zero stars, I would put negative 5!! We were exhausted from hours of driving and stopped at this motel hoping to shower and get a few hours of sleep. It was already 4am, and we hoped for a discount but were refused. So, $90 later, we checked into our room: a single white light on the ceiling, a tiny bed covered with a blanket that looked like it had been picked up from the garbage, complete with multiple holes. This was supposed to be the only blanket to use as a cover, and touching our skin! Shocked, we returned to the owners and demanded another room, only to encounter the same conditions. The owner refused to refund us, even though we had checked in less than 10 minutes prior. He gave us keys to a third room, but it was the same story. In the fourth room, we had the owner with us. We showed him the bed, when we flipped the blanket over, we found bloodstained sheets underneath, he couldn’t even say anything. The owner finally agreed to a refund. Yet, he still refused to refund us $10! As for the rest of the room: we could hear everything from the room next door, including intimate activities. I doubt the rooms are ever cleaned, as everything was filthy. The bed was the most disgusting part of the room. During our argument about the refund, we asked the owners if they would sleep in one of their rooms. I saw the man shake his head, but neither responded. They should be fined and forced to shut down for remodeling because the conditions are extremely unsanitary...

Also know as the Bon Aire Motel. Thank God my last night here is tomorrow. I had to stay a week here with my family because they will not refund once you pay! I was put in between two rooms both being catered to prostitutes. Having a three year old it pissed me off. The owner knows what they are doing. The walls are so thin it sounds as if they are in the room with you. I had to cover my son ears up or blast the tv just so he couldn't hear the countless number of men going in and out of their rooms. There is one car I'm guessing is the pimp that blasted his music so loud it will make your hair bounce in your room and the windows rattle. Tonight the girl next to us overdose. The room is nasty. It like they never heard of a shampooer. Stains all over the carpets. The funiture has burn marks all over the top of it. They only clean with bleach and water. I would say just spray the stuff down. Drug dealing all night long. This place should have the cops rad it and be shut down!!!! Worst motel I have ever been too. The owner has three motel, the first one had bed bugs, went to this one bad experience, god forbid I go to the other one called...
