Really nice place, if it were a fair wait in line. We went for the day on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Knew it would likely be crowded and got there at 10 a.m., waited in a long line 1/2 way down the driveway, which we accepted. Once we got 2/3 of the way to the front, we noticed people walking past us from their cars behind us and walking back to their cars with a yellow slip. Then driving past us into the parking lot. Since this was our first time we asked a young man wearing a STAFF shirt what was going on. He said on days like this when its really crowded, people can walk up, get a slip, walk back to their cars and go in and that "they" didn't mind. I replied that "we" mind since we are the ones fairly waiting in line and people are cutting by walking up then driving past! And that if I'd known that this was their policy, I would have started walking at 10:00 when we first arrived. He walked away from our truck. By noon we got to the front, I walked into the office to pay and told the two women behind the counter what was going on, that at least 40 cars had passed us and what the young man had said about "them" not caring. They then clarified that they do care and are trying to stop this from happening again. I'm not sure if my words fell on deaf ears but when we go again, we'll see if my complaints were heard. Other than that, very clean place and the...

Not good for RV full hook up camping... Terrible road going in , huge holes all over.. RV hook up sites too close together and full of permanent residents. .. And got woken up by some sort of equipment when it was still completely dark outside in the morning. Also lake looks like a puddle in a desert. I talked to someone on the phone who made it sound like there was plenty of room For RV full hookup site. She said just get there before 9 when the gate is locked and then pick a spot And fill out a ticket for late arrival in the Dropbox. I got there just before 9 When the person who locked the gate met us at the store and took our payment. He told me to drive around to where the full hook up sites are. There were only A few sites left to choose from one was too small to swing in Also with residence cars in the way. The others were way way unlevel. I ended up parking in the boat ramp parking lot for the night. Couldn't find anybody around to talk to in the morning about getting a refund. Called later but only got $15 refunded should have gotten a full refund after having to drive down that terrible road...

DONT CAMP HERE! If you can avoid camping here I would highly recommend you do. Campsites aren’t well kept, weeds and tall grass full of foxtails, covered in dog poop and lots of trash. We even found a feminine pad in our site which was disgusting. Bathrooms don’t have soap or liners for toilets. Men’s bathroom is closed so they have porter potties which smell disgusting. Even just passing it to get to the women’s restroom is unbearable, I can’t imagine being inside. There is no toilet paper there either or anywhere to wash your hands. Another thing, we were told it would be a certain amount of money up to 12 people, one car included. Well, they charged $35 per car per night. Total rip off. Not very clear on that. We payed close to $700 for a place that can’t even provide the basic necessities. Oh, and if you even try questioning it they hit you with the “we are privately owned” meaning they can do and say whatever they want. Their staff needs to be properly trained in how to deal with costumers and explain everything clearly so we are all...

Clean and friendly atmosphere. Great for swimming and boating and fishing. Day use and camping available. Clean bathroom's. Wheel chair accessible. Had a little mini store with friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly. Mon thru Thurs Day use is $17. Camping $32 per vehicle per night with up to 6 people. Pets are $5 each per night. Must be on a leash. Fri thru Sun day use is $20. Camping $35 per vehicle per night with up to 6 people. Pets are still $5 each per night. Boating jet skis, canoe, kayak,+ paddle board and horses are an extra fee. There is a north side and a south side. For swimming and camping i find the north side the better side. Its a few miles outside of wheatland heading towards Beale Air Force Base. The drive is scenic and enjoyable. Unfortunately the water is extremely low but there still plenty in there to have some summer fun in.

If the water is low something for shade is a place and a pad for under sleeping bag rocks are everywhere, they have a boat ramp and allow dogs on leash and u can bring rvs.

I have a lot of love for this lake. Fishing for bass is always a great time here. I’m on my kayak, so the best times to go are early morning before the jet skiers come out to play. A lil’ steep on the Day Use Fee ($20) and $4 extra for kayak use
