I have no idea how this place is 4 stars. Rented their 2 room sweet cabin, more like a disaster that has not been updated or cleaned in 20 years. Place is simply filthy; cobwebs, dust, stains, urine, pick you poison. When we arrived, one of the beds had cold wet URINE on it, the URINE had soaked through the mattress. A Pungent Smell of URINE ammonia hit you right when you walk in the door. Went to speak with the guy at the front desk to get another room. He was not surprised at all. Yet he told me he doesn't know how, the cabin hasn't been rented in 4 nights, I'm like yeah this URINE is cold. Told me he cant do anything for me except change the sheets, Wouldn't even bring me a Cot. I was stuck in a FILTHY URINE SOAKED room at 9:30 pm on a Friday night in Lincoln NH. Only reason why I stayed and not slept in the car was the kids and the dog and didn't want to ruin the weekend for them. Instead spent the night on the nastiest couch you ever seen. The next day the owner, his name is Raj, said the room hasn't been rented in 9 days. Which is it? 4 nights or 9 nights? Get your stories straight Please. He didn't even care and didn't even want to offer us another room. After some back and forth he finally offered us another room. The other room #6 was purely disgusting. It was cleaner then their room #1 Cabin which is "no cabin", but had the most potent cigarette smell you could imagine, couldn't even cross the door. The only reason this place is still in business is location and most likley has never had a board of...
Read moreMy spouse and I enjoyed our two-day stat at Parker's Motel in Lincoln, New Hampshire. It's a motel where you drive up to your door to unload your luggage. For us that was a plus since our luggage was about 50# each. The manager/owner welcomed us and gave us a brief tour of the facility and let us choose which room we wanted. Parker's was inexpensive by comparison to the big cookie-cutter hotels nowadays. This motel was clean, quiet, secure and not very busy. Its location is a very good one very near Franconia Notch State Park, a very scenic park with much to do there. We loved hiking The Flume trail at the park (not a very difficult hike) and then resting at nearby beautiful Echo Lake Beach afterwards. If you're in the area, don't miss either of these amazing attractions. FYI, before leaving home we saw a news item on national news about how drive-up motels are making a comeback and it helped us to decide to stay at Parker's. Since it was in September the outdoor pool was closed for the season. This motel did not provide a breakfast, so we ate our leftovers from the previous day using the fridge and microwave at the motel. The motel offers 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom units. There is a guest laundry. Some rooms offer kitchenettes and fireplaces. All in all, we enjoyed our quiet stay and wish the Awan Family good fortune with...
Read morewhen we arrived at the cottage, It had a smell of mold, and taking a closer look, there were bugs in the draws, and the windows would not open. At this point, I was upset, I then asked to see if any other 2 bedroom suites were available, the main showed us that was in the main building and by looks of it, everything was fine with the suite, so we took it, but they bumped up the price of the suite for no reason, it was basically the same as the cottage, I had to haggle with the staff to lower the price down. The suite that we had to haggle for was good, but there is a problem the whole main building has, there is a HUGE family of European garden spider's. they were mostly located around the suite's windows, It's something they have to get rid off, and another con is that the game room is completely outdated, there all old 90's that don't work, and there is a PS1 and a pool table that you have to pay for if you want to play. Overall, I recommend not staying here, there are better places in lincoln, much better. The only good part about this hotel is the pool, Jacuzzi, and the maid, the owners are jerk's, and also, the Wi-Fi is Horrable! Please find somewhere else to stay! there is...
