We spent 3 nights at this beautiful peaceful campground. We had a perfect site with lots of room even after everything was setup, with lots of trees between us and our neighbors. Site was almost too easy to back into. Firepits are much more than your usual fire ring. Each firepit is made using boulders and rocks and located perfectly on the site. Each site comes with a picnic table, and you can select from no hook ups to half/full hook-ups. Check in and check out was easy breezy! All staff were friendly and eager to help. Another party was having a hard time with their site/camper, and the campground staff was very understanding and quickly got them into a more comfortable site. This was the most peaceful, quiet campground I've ever been, and I've been to a lot. I'm not sure if it was because there's only 80ish sites or the fact that there are no seasonal sites. But it definitely made us feel alone in the woods at times which a great thing!! The campground does have a pool, arcade, basketball hoops, volleyball, playground, gem mining and more!! We never made it to the pool as it rained one day and the next, we had plans outside of the campground. But it looked very clean, and it was enjoyed by other campers who seemed quite happy. Gem mining, I really wanted to do but again didn't get a chance. To do this activity you must purchase your bag of sand from the campground store and then take it down to the Mining area. The reason we didn't get to do this is because we didn't know the store closed so early on Sunday. In fact, we almost didn't have any firewood for our last night. Thankfully one of the local gas stations did!! It was a great trip; I think we will visit this place again! Just remember to check those store hours.

Campground: Spacious Skies Campgrounds - Minute Man (formerly Boston Minuteman Campground) City, State: Littleton, Massachusetts Check-in: August 7, 2022 Check-out: August 8, 2022 Site Number: 75 water/30 amp, dump was on way out of campground. We Liked: Spacious site. Friendly and helpful staff despite being off duty when we arrived. Close to I-495. Large swimming pool (for a campground). Two bonus rooms off of the pool - one with video games and one to watch a movie. Laundry facilities. Spacious and clean bathrooms. Showers were clean and spacious. Basketball included with basketball court. Quiet campers. Stone fire rings at all the campsites we saw - many different looks. We Didn't Car For: Nothing to add here. Overall Assessment: Our site was level and dirt surface. All the sites were heavily shaded. The interior roads were narrow and hilly. You have to unhook TOAD at the camp office. PRO TIP - when approaching the campground from I-90 there is a truck pull off across from the Gulf fas station. Unhook your TOAD there. There are no level spots in the campground to unhook. The patio space where the picnic table was stone. This campground has officially made the cut of a place we'll stay at on our way up to or back from Maine. We also saw a huge opportunity when visiting Boston. Close to the T so you don't have to drive into the city. Curious if it was once a KOA as the signs above the bathrooms were KOA yellow. For all the reasons listed above, we would highly recommend this campground.

Not a bad spot! Location: if traffic is busy out front you just have to be patient to make that left into the steep driveway. Not very wide for two rigs to pass at the same time on the main entrance, but not a big deal at all. Staff: very friendly staff! One though didn’t have any recommendations for fun things to do around the area or good places to eat. She said she grew up there and there’s nothing cool in this town. We found stuff to do anyway that was cool 😆 Site: because we were in a pinch and reserved last minute, we got the last site available at the time which was down in the corner. We have a massive 47’ rig, so it was quite tricky to make the first turn and then back down and around the corner into our site, but we did it first time around. Our site neighbors were about 4 feet off the “business” side of the rig, but on the “fun” side was really nobody but trees, a steep dirt embankment, and another site kind of above us. If you know you know. Other sites might be spaced out more, but we were just here one night and our neighbors were really awesome, thankfully. Campground: surprising to find this place in this area. It wasn’t massive and could be why some sites were really crammed together. Everything was really close and around the main office. Overall: not bad. It was a good spot for a short stay. Definitely wouldn’t stay here more than a few nights.

Our Wonderful Time at Boston Minuteman Campground, Not so much!

My family & I traveled from Cape Cod with another family we are friends with to enjoy a weekend away. We had big plans to visit Nashoba Valley with our families so we could take the kids peach picking. A few family members had to meet us there after work, so they arrived in separate cars. The first night of the trip we returned from dinner at about 8 pm. At around 9 pm the owner (a very soft spoken man who avoided eye contact) stopped by to ask about an additional car on our site. We advised him that we had cleared the car with the lady in the office at the time of check in. Everything was fine. We proceeded to make a fire and hang out for a couple hours after we had put the kids to bed. We all decided to call it a night around 11 pm so we could be well rested to go to Nashoba Valley in the morning.

At around 830 am the following morning, we were "greeted" by the campground owner in a flat out rage. Apparently, a fellow visitor had called to complain about our evening, saying that it sounded like we were having a "frat party", yet we had no music playing, only seven adults around a campfire. Our families go on about 10 camping trips a year together and understand how to be respectful of our neighbors. We were nowhere near being disrespectfully loud to our fellow campers. Now quiet hours were apparently at 10 pm, but when he visited at 9 pm to check on our family member's vehicle, he did not iterate that quiet hours meant we must be in our campers at 10 pm. Although he claims to have made a remark to us regarding 10 pm being complete quiet hours. If he had properly advised us of this, I would think that 1 of the 7 people would have heard this instruction.

So the owner proceeded to speak to us in an irritated and disrespectful manner, claiming that we were out of line the night before. However, we were not arguing or escalating the situation that morning. Short story long, by the end of the conversation he told us that our family members in the separate vehicles, who he referred to as "guests" because they did not travel in the trucks towing the campers, must leave the campground's premises at once. He also decided to add that "guests" are always the issue and he would not allow guests at his campground if possible.

Our family members in turn, left immediately and missed the trip to Nashoba Valley, the whole point for our camping trip. We are very disappointed with the lack of respect shown by this campground. Safe to say we will not be returning for any camping trips...

Our family used the six-person charming little cabin at site 95 for three nights. We found it delightful! The cabin is exceptionally well appointed, simple, with the beds and benches and desks and hooks on the walls all just right, and with charming rope latches for the doors. The cabin has two bunkbeds (four sleeping spaces) in a separate tiny room in the back. That room closes off with its own door, and the double bed is in the front little room -- perfect. There's a lovely porch swing and a picnic table with just the right kind of stone fire pit. The plastic mattresses looked clean and we all found them comfortable. There are several functional screened windows that open wide, so you can get lovely fresh air at night. Each of the two rooms has one electrical outlet (place for two plugs). The tiny fridge and microwave are plugged into that outlet in the front room, but you can unplug them as needed. Pack light; the space is very tiny. If you dislike digital emphasis when you camp, you would need to ask them to take away the TV which they advised me they were about to install. If you dislike room freshening devices, you would need to ask them to remove these ahead of time and air out the cabin, as they were potent. The cabin directly faces a rec room which conveniently houses a single bathroom with shower as well as a kitchen sink outside the bathroom. It also houses an arcade of about 10 blinking machines that make various sudden noises, so if you are trying to get into nature and away from this sort of thing, you'll want to use the common bathrooms, which are also located very close by. The common bathrooms were clean, both the toilets and the showers. By the way, the arcade noises and lights will not disturb you in the cabin (they are oriented away from the cabin and are too far to hear), but you'd want to avoid them in the middle of the night, despite the fact that the rec room houses the closest bathroom. The campsite is very quiet at night, and we slept well. We found the people working here to be very accomodating and kind. A friendly man gave us lots of help over the phone finding the best campsite...

If it were possible to give zero stars I would do that.

We pulled into the Minuteman Campground around 5:30 pm today after a full day of driving. My husband and I have been driving across the country from California with our two sets of parents to move us to Boston. We were excited to finally reach our final destination after two weeks of staying in random RV parks and truck stops...that is until we walked into the office of the Minuteman Campground.

As I go to check in I find out they only allow four adults per campsite. Per their explanation if they allowed six adults it would turn into a rowdy party. This would make sense if we were a group of 20 year olds, but alas, we are a quiet and completely exhausted group of weary travelers with a median age of 40.

I understand the fine print in the confirmation explained there were only 4 people allowed for each site and it was our fault as we totally missed that but as we tried to figure out different options the manager/owner snapped at us saying there was no way she could make an exception. Was there a tent site we could add on? Could we stay in a cabin that inexplicably allows 6 adults anyway (because obviously people don't get rowdy and loud in cabins?!) Could we consider some of the adults as kids since there were other sites with 7 people (4 adults and 3 kids. Again, this isn't rowdy or loud?!)

She was uncompromising in every possible way.

This may look like a nice campground but if the owner/manager is this rude to customers it's clear she doesn't need the business or have respect for anyone, including her uncomfortable employees who stood by silently as she remained unwavering.

Initially she refused to give us a refund for our three night stay but as one other person in our party came in to speak with her nicely about this again she yelled (as her other two employees quietly watched on) saying "I'm sick of this type of thing happening every weekend. Just take the deposit!"

Cash in hand, we walked out irate and spent the next hour trying to find a campground in the area on a busy Friday night.

Welcome to...
