My girlfriend and I had a jobs at a nearby ski mountain and considered staying here for the season. We signed an agreement that was good for ONE week, and payed a security deposit. I was then able to find more comfortable housing through my job, closer to the mountain and informed one of the owners (Maya) that we were moving out. She refused to refund me any deposit, and decided to keep all of my money. I came back in person and showed her husband (Brian) the agreement we signed, and he agreed I was entitled to a refund on the deposit. Maya then called me and explained that her husband was "just a Mason, and doesn't know anything about business", and refused me again. I decided to then let it go, and was left quite unimpressed with her business ethic. After this incident she updated the agreement and had all the other tenants re-sign, this time signing a seasonal agreement, instead of a week agreement. She also does random room inspections, un-notified, whether you are present or not. Pretty hands off owner, difficult to deal with. Should be a nice place to stay a night or weekend, but not ideal for a seasonal stay. I rate the experience terrible because of how she handled our situation. Months later I'm still a little bitter thinking of Mya and The...
Read moreLondonderry Inn doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Maya is completely unprofessional and the way she handled our situation was abominable. Our dog got sick overnight and had an accident on the rug. We went to the store to buy some cleaner and when we came back she started screaming at us and told us we couldn’t stay there. We had already paid upfront for the next two nights as well as a security deposit. Our belongings were packed and on the front stoop. We were very apologetic and offered to send a Cleaning service to clean the rug. They own two dogs and two cats so therefore should be a little more understanding when a dog becomes ill. It was an accident and there could have been a solution to the issue. Maya and Brian didn’t offer a solution and the way they treated us was a complete embarrassment to them and their Inn. Lastly, when you stay at a bed and breakfast you expect a continental breakfast, which they do not offer. They also advertise cable tv on their website, which they don’t have. It is very outdated and not clean. You will notice cobwebs and flys upon arrival. I would think twice before staying at the...
Read moreOur dog had an accident on the rug and Maya flipped out and kicked us out! We had payed for two more nights and a security deposit, which she kept. We went to the store to buy some cleaner and when we came back our stuff was all on the front stoop and she told us we couldn't go back in. She was totally unprofessional and would not come to a resolution. A complete embarrassment to her, Brian, and the Inn. If you read the other review on here she stole someone else's security deposit. We even offering to have the rug professionally cleaned. Not to mention the Inn is a total dump and outdated. There are fly's and cobwebs everywhere. To clarify they DO NOT have cable TV, DO NOT offer a continental breakfast (which you expect from a bed and breakfast), Do NOT have air conditioning, and the kitchen is a MESS! Spend your money wisely and go somewhere more comfortable where you will be treated...
