We’re very grateful for our family camping with us and sticking through the 104 degree weather 🥵🥵 Carrollwoods RV Park with Grapeful Sisters Vineyard attached. This campground was only 30 minutes from the beach!

Very warm and inviting welcome from staff and camp host. We found the winery station onsite a plus, wine tasting was a big hit. Staff at the winery house were very friendly. We found this to be a small park, which needs some TLC. The park has some hiking trails, however, the trails, leaves and shrubbery at the park need some maintenance. Many campers were long term, and these RV’s appeared really rough, which presented a negative look on the park. Wi-Fi was weak and not reliable. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no issue. Verizon phones were able to get a 3g signal. Some leveling was needed, as our site was located on sand/dirt. Water pressure was strong, use regulator. Pull through sites are available. Our family is currently traveling this beautiful country via RV style, and have been RV'ing for many years. We utilize Google to assist us on locating top attractions, tasty restaurants and exciting locations within our wonderful country. Follow our adventure via Facebook/Instagram; “Happy Campers 227”.

Carrollwoods Campground and Vineyard is a nice hidden gem. The campground is nestled in a beautiful grove of trees. The pull-through sites are spacious and easily accessible. The grounds, including a pond with ducks and geese, dog park, playground, and swimming pool, are well maintained. Many lawn games, such as cornhole, badminton, volleyball, Connect Four, and Jenga, are available for use. At the entrance to the campground, there is a nice winery, Grapefull Sisters, that offers wine tasting for $12. The store also sells ice cream and jams made from their grapes. Try the ice cream with chocolatey strawberry jam. You will not be disappointed. Take the time to greet Happy, the cheerful dog who welcomes everyone. Hopefully, you will be able to enjoy some music on the porch as you enjoy a nice chilled class of wine. We hope to return again (and again).

A hidden gem! A quiet, clean, safe campground with plenty of green spaces to throw a baseball or Frisbee, ample area to take a walk or ride bikes. With onsite amenities like a pool, playground, and volleyball court, there is something to do for everybody. The campground is family owned and operated and has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. One of the features which makes this park unique is the wide, wooded lots which provide shade and elbow room. During check-in, we were told about a quaint, country store nearby where we stocked up on food, supplies, firewood, and propane. The park is located about 20 miles from area beaches: North Myrtle, Calabash, or Sunset. It is so nice to be able to drive back here and escape the crowded, noisy conditions of the beach after a long day. Check out the onsite vineyard and winery while you are here; you will not be disappointed. Most of the products in their winery gift shop are local and handcrafted. CarrollWoods is the place to go if you need to relax or live in the slow lane for a little while. It is a...

With a little bit of work, this could provide a nice, comfortable getaway. Many of the sites are low lying so they stay wet most of the time. Mosquitoes and other flying insects certainly love it. It would also go a long way if the bathrooms were serviced daily. “That” should go without saying. I went several mornings in a row, the first of which I went back later in the day just to be certain, and there were obvious signs (same poo stains and lack of tissue replacement) that removes any doubt of that they had not been serviced.

The owners are certainly nice enough and Great folks, but some regrading if sites to ensure water run-off, instead of collection, would go a long way. Stop with the piling on of mulch, which just softens the surrounding area.

Would we stay here again? Yes, but only to have somewhere to park the RV while we’re out doing other things in the surrounding areas.

Again, this could easily turn into a great little spot, just need some key...
