Discover Abiquiu — Hotel in Los Alamos

We have really enjoyed our stays with Tom and Carolyn at the Grand Hacienda B&B and then (twice) at their Abiquiu Lake Mesa house. They are such amazingly responsive and caring hosts. Being up above the world with that fabulous view in comfortably furnished and immaculately clean housing, the only thing we could ask for would be a roof that lifted off so we could admire the stars all night long, not just when we’re in the hot tub. Tom and Carolyn are attentive to detail and ready to accommodate your needs and desires without ever intruding on your sense of solitude and sanctuary. I'm afraid to write about how amazing this place is for fear that it will become too discovered! We have traveled a lot of the world and find this spot on earth to have magical qualities. If you are afraid of complete quiet, the most intense star gazing and mountain and sky views that are hard to find elsewhere, then do not come here! The views are incredible! We were outside most of the time, just gazing all around us. Quite a vista! The studio was clean, shower was terrific. Great off the beaten path, relaxing atmosphere to get away from it all. Carolyn and Tom were the best - our car wouldn't start, and being miles out in the middle of nowhere, we were concerned, being two females. Tom came to the rescue and got us started and off for more adventures in no time at all! I would stay again if...
