Best Western Canoga Park Motor Inn — Hotel in Los Angeles

Before we even arrived, the staff was EXTREMELY HELPFUL. Night shift clerk on 5/26/18 was friendly and helpful. I had explained I was coming with a service dog and requesting a first floor room. She left notes for day shift making check-in easy. On 5/27/18 front desk clerks helped us check in and with directions to our afternoon destination. Room was 'GREAT'. Clean, nice, comfortable and exceeded my expectations. As a frequent traveler, I appreciate little touches like in-room coffee and extra and unexpected hygiene amenities. This was a rare time I was provided mouthwash, facial towelette and cosmetic kit with cotton balls and Q-tips for FREE. Room had quality bedding and extra pillows and blankets. Little touches in room and throughout hotel like designer waste baskets, upgraded drapery, extra hallway seating and accessories for elderly or if needed. Pool and spa clean and inviting. Pool towels included at pool and my teenagers had fun. Night shift 'Alex' and security were awesome. Definitely felt safe knowing he was observing and rounding on property. Saved the best for last "BREAKFAST" THIS WAS AMAZING!!!! full service breakfast with made to order waffles. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Fresh fruit, cereal, fresh pastries. First time I saw non-breakfast options like dried fruit, hummus and cold cuts. Breakfast Attendant 'Mayte' smile was contagious. She was helpful and friendly. Overall 'GREAT' experience. Would definitely book again. Very satisfied with hotel...

Ok..Im so happy with our 1 night sunday labor day weekend stay not sure where to begin..1st I called when I was 30 minutes out to see if they had a room(s) and they did!! The gentlemen quickly gave me the price with tax and took my information. Upon arrival staff were nice...efficient and helpful. I loved seeing all the masks on.. hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes placed all around. We walked into our room upstairs and it was sooooo clean..no fingerprints...no stains...not a crumb!!....bedding was plush comfortable and clean..the Air conditioner worked amazing especially for being 104° that day. There was ample parking and we enjoyed the pool. Morning time we enjoyed breakfast downstairs with respects to social distancing the staff served the 3 of us and was polite..quick and pleasant to talk with..We were impressed with cleanliness..decor and staffing. I realized left a travel pillow in the room..when I called they instantly figured out It was me and already had it behind the front desk in a clear bag with my name on it. Upon picking it up approx 7 hours later..I walked in..they ID me and handed me my pillow and said I was waiting for you lol..Impressed!!!We now have a home away from home .We are so glad we found this hidden gem and we cant wait to return everytime we go to LA. Please let your staff know how awesome...

This hotel has many pluses. Helpful and pleasant staff, quite large and well furnished rooms with comfortable beds. Fridge, microwave, good toiletries. Clean and quiet. A nice hot complimentary breakfast and an evening complimentary drinks and snacks social (Mondays to Thursdays). A gym with free weights and a combo exercise machine in addition to the aerobic machines. Quiet, with internal corridors. Free parking. Free coffee and tea most hours near the reception desk.Outdoor pool (unusable in winter). We received(but didn't avail of) discount coupons for the bowling alley next door.

Stragglers beware - breakfast items were removed promptly at 10 am and they like the breakfast area cleared out by 10:15 am, The complimentary WiFi in room worked but seemed a bit patchy at times. There are no special handicapped accessible rooms / bathrooms and the bathroom door is not wide. So getting my Dad's walker into and out of the modest sized bathroom required a little manipulation every time. Housekeeping replaced and removed the barely used soaps in bathroom instead of leaving them be and simply adding new toiletries. Slightly surprising in this CA drought time to see that toilet flushes were still the old 4 gallon variety instead of the new water efficient ones. But overall we had a very...
