A little hidden getaway that was much more delightful than an equally priced motel 8. The room was clean and plenty of room for two. Our room had a bathtub/shower combo and the AC was powerful. There’s WiFi and a shared kitchen space with beverages, fruit, and snacks it was perfect! It’s a beautiful old antebellum home remodeled with a walk out patio and seating area plus a swing with a picturesque landscape.
We had booked incorrectly to the following day after we needed it. You’re presented a code for the room and when the code didn’t work I was at a loss. There’s no front desk or anything just a name and number to call or text. I text Heather and within an hour she replied. She was on a flight so understandable. She didn’t hesitate to correct the issue and though the room changed she had everything fixed and a new room ready just as we were finishing dinner, so right on time (maybe an hour after the conversation)! I work in customer service and can attest that Heather is top notch and made sure our experience was memorable even though we messed up.
I highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the area (we were going to a waterpark 45 minutes away) this is most definitely worth the extra 20 bucks vs any option in the area and I searched extensively before I locked it in. If you’re looking for a nice hotel with a luxurious feeling mattress and perfect pillows...
Read moreWe stayed at The Mason the night before my graduation, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. After a long, emotional day attending my daughter’s graduation in Biloxi, we didn’t arrive until after 10pm - much later than planned. I was exhausted and repeatedly tried to use my booking number as the door code (brain fog is real LOL), so I had to call for help. I hated bothering anyone that late, but the staff was incredibly kind and quick to assist.
The room was perfectly cooled, which was such a relief after a long day. We loved the location and especially appreciated the peaceful courtyard - my husband and I enjoyed coffee out there the next morning before heading to Starkville for the day. The only minor downside is the road noise from the intersection, but The Mason thoughtfully provides earplugs, which truly did the trick.
Highly recommend for the service, charm, and...
Read moreWe were in the area for a conference and needed place to stay. There aren't any good chain hotels like we usually stay in. Someone from the area recommended the Mason Boutique to us. I am thrilled we made the decision to stay here. It was a wonderful stay, The rooms are beautiful. We love boutique style decorating and our room (The Bennett Suite) was perfect. There are just so many little things where their attention to detail shines through. Quality of the linens, high end mattress on the bed, excellent toiletries, clear instructions o how to use the wifi and tv, etc. There wasn't a single thing we would change about this hotel. And, to top off the stay, the rooms were incredibly affordable. I would have easily paid more for our room. If you're ever in Louisville, don't even consider staying...
