Motel Deska — Hotel in Lower Heidelberg Township

You people are VERY RUDE! I offered to pay the the extra money for my brother and his family using a fridge in their room.. I was yelled at and told that the guy didn't want no money. The rate is $35 a night! For a week it would be $245 then with the 6% state tax the total comes up to $259.70. My brother and his family is being charged $277.50 for a week.. then the guy goes to the room demanding an additional $10 a week for use of the fridge. When I called to tell the guy that I would pay the extra money for the fridge which they were not told would cost extra even though they are being overcharged by $17.80 that is when the guy told me he didn't want any extra money... My brother and his family pay a day before their room is up. Yet this guy wants to be more than rude... He has been going into their room when they are not there...This behavior is ridiculous and very unprofessional! If this guy can't run this business in a professional manner than he needs to find a new job! All this money they are being charged and they have to pay for the next week in order to get clean sheets and their room clean. How very unsanitary! I will be contacting the BBB and informing them of this and how they are being mistreated at the Motel Deska and being overcharged. They work everyday and have nowhere else to go and just moved up from out of state only to be treated in this manner... I live in PA and have for a very long time and never have I been treated this...

Our family recently relocated to Wernersville, PA. During our move friends from out of state came to help us unpack. Motel Deska was the nearest place. We went to pay for a room for one night ($70) with a credit card and the front desk man demanded cash only. Because it was late and everyone was tired, we paid cash. The room was extremely old and not clean. Again, it was late and everyone was tired. Our out of state friends left well before check out time but had knocking on their door telling them they had to leave soon. We have since found out that the expense of the room can be reimbursed from our employer since this move was for work purposes. We returned to Motel Deska to ask for a receipt (because we HAD to pay cash). I was literally yelled at and told to leave and "do not return to these premesis". When I refused and asked for my receipt again I was told he was calling the police. I said that was fine, I was happy to wait for them to come. The man (same person that checked our friends in) got my licesnse plate number. I waited for a while and police did not show up. I then drove to the police station to report this and to make sure police weren't on their way. The officer told us stories of things they have seen at that Motel. Very long story short, avoid the hassle, old and dirty rooms and "Cash Only" policy and stay elsewhere. Any business that cannot supply you with a receipt is NOT a...
