These guys are sketchy, I can from out state and was charged $70. However since I’ve been traveling from far I did not ask questions. But in the morning when I went to ask about the charges. Knowing the room were 45 a night, they could not give me an answer. The manger saw my driver license and just charged me $70. There was no billing explanation he just wrote 70 on a piece of paper. Then gave me a room with a non working AC unit, and a static TV. Other than the bathroom nothing was great. The bed and the bed sheets were horrible. I went to check out and went to DaysIn for 77$ after tax. The beds and bedsheets were comfortable, Included breakfast, indoor pool, and all the amenities were working. Rooms in general were much nicer. I strongly recommend against booking at Model 6 in person especially if you’re out of state. They are super sketchy and do not keep proper documentation. I wouldn’t be surprised if you received a random up-charge after checked out. For 7$ more you can get a better experience with indoor poor and breakfast. Model 6 is less than 10 minutes drive from DaysIn. In general model6 is located in the middle of nowhere. DaysIn has many stores and restaurants you can just walk to. If you are on a tight budget, please book at model6 through online. Your purchase will be documented and you will be charged properly, it may still be close to 60$ after taxes. But, I still wouldn’t ever stay at any motel 6. I received no apology and was overcharged likely due to an employees attempt to take advantage...
Read moreThis place refused a refund when the room was booked incorrectly on Booking.com and the hotel and the website refused to work with us on fixing this. It was mistakingly booked for 2 nights and we couldn't book 2 nights with bad weather coming which rain would cancel our work and we shouldn't have to pay for services that are not provided. The motel is still trying to take money from my account, after explaining the situation and that we would return with future business. Not somewhere you want to stay. Priced high and poorly kept. And unfortunately I have to stay at this location for work. And the lack of compassion with people compared to making a dollar has me viewing the world completely different. Why do we fund businesses that really don't care about you as a customer or a person only the dollar brought to the table. Blinded by the money they want to make but not concerned about any future business only focusing on the planned money transactions or cash that is in their view. I refuse to do this job because of the service at this location. Y'all going to rent here because it's cheaper, just go ahead and spend a little more it's worth it. But just my opinion. But yeah it's okay for me to sit out in the 100 degree temperature with my dog's for 4 hours waiting for someone to come and get me because I made another bad choice with the individual that...
Read moreI’m glad I decided to stay despite some of the reviews. I travel daily for work so I’m used to all sorts of hotels. This one was very nice! It could use some improvements in the rooms. But for a budget hotel, this place is perfect! Hot water, cold AC, and NO bedbugs in the room I was staying in. I couldn’t ask for better. It’s also nice they only charge $10 for a pet fee! I had enough room to park my truck and 40ft gooseneck trailer and the man at the front desk was very helpful in telling me where I could park and booking a room close to my truck. The same man, I forgot his name but he works the late evening shift…he was very kind and made me feel safe. As a solo female traveler that is a big deal for me! There was a couple that came in screaming and hollering about 10:15pm at night and my dog was going nuts. I don’t normally call the front desk but after 15 minutes of constant walking up and down the walkway yelling at each other, I had enough. Some people have work to do early in the morning. He went out there and asked them to quiet down. The service was excellent, the location is perfect. It’s kind of tucked away from the interstate and nestled behind a truck stop so for workers with big trucks and trailers it’s the perfect location! I’d definitely stay...
