Boss Truck Shop — Local services in Madisonville

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I came in with a punctured tire that I temporarily fixed myself on the side of the road using a plug, just to make it to the shop. When I explained the situation, they took a look and said, “Since you already tried to repair it yourself and it’s still leaking, we won’t fix it either. The only solution is a new tire.”

I tried to explain that my roadside fix was just a quick, temporary job using what I had on hand, and that surely, with proper tools and equipment at their shop, they could do a better repair. But no—apparently, they don’t do actual repairs, just sell you new tires.

Honestly, it felt like they were just trying to upsell me instead of helping with the actual problem. If you’re looking for real service or someone who knows what they’re doing, go...

Had a truck with a brake chamber on their lot, they wanted to change 2 instead of 1 without explaining the reason. Neither the mechanic or the service manager couldn't explain why. Got the truck inside, removed 2 brake chambers and called me after stating that they've realized that they don't have the parts in stock. Waited 1 day for the parts to show up, after they replaced only 1 and put 1 of my used ones back. Original price quoted was $130 for the parts, in the end it came to $300 for the parts. Actually I would prefer to give 0 stars. I got to this place @ 06:45 and the people said they weren't open yet but will be @ 07: 00hrs . Upon return another person had got in front of me for an oil change and lube . I was there for a blowout and all I need was to take the damage tire off and mount my spare.
