I honestly have not in my life have had worst customer service from a hotel in my life. the hotel was good, but the staff on the other hand made my after stay horrible.
First, I was charged 2 times for the room on my credit card, and mistakes happen so I called the hotel to let them know about this. But each time someone picked up the phone and I tried to let them know about this issue, the hung up on me.
So my fiancée who was still in Puerto Rico for a day after I flew out went to the hotel to ask them about this, the lady at the counter lied and said she would have to wait until the weekend (which my fiancée was leaving} to speak with a manager about it and they are in before 10am Saturdays and Sundays.) So I called Saturday just for the person on the phone to tell me that whoever said at the counter to call in on the weekends may have gave me the wrong information because managers are not in on weekends!....
now 5 days have passed.
So I call on a Monday to finally get a lady who told me she was the manager to see that they do see that I was charged twice and will work to get this resolved. once I got off the phone I get another charge from the hotel for additional charge of $71.92.
So I called the hotel again, and a new lady tells that "oh you should see the funds that you were doubled charged on, going back to your account within 3-5 days"
I asked her about what was this additional charge for $71.92 about??
She went to check, and a guy who I was reconnected to, told me "Oh sir the charges that we gave you were charges we forgot to apply to your card when you booked"
he named the charges off, and I told him that "sir these charges were already included in my bill that I am currently looking at, and not your telling me your trying to double charge me for the additional fee's just as I was double charged for the hotel?"
he then put me on hold, a came back to tell me " You would have to contact your Credit card to dispute this out with them sense the charges are applied to that card company!.....
THIS HOTEL IS PENNY PINCHING AND NOW THEY ARE TAKING MY KINDNESS FOR WEAKNESS
IDK IF THIS IS A SCAM OR IF SOMEONE IS JUST LOOKING TO GROW THIS HOTELS REVENUE DUE TO COVID, BUT THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT. THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL...
Read moreMy stay was 7/14/17 -7/20/17 on 7/17/17 my mothers Pandora Necklace with 2 charms on it was removed from her room. The Necklace contain a mother charm and a charm with her aunts ashes which was one of the reasons why we came to Puerto Rico. We stayed in a room with 2 full size beds and pull out couched and to be exact the room number was 306. In between the beds there's a night stand that is firmly attached to the wall which doesn't allow anything to fall behind. Her necklace was on that table with a Pandora ring, beat heads, Iphone 7 plus, and 4 travel size bottles on top of the ring and chain. That night when i arrived to the room i realize the bottle packet has been moved to the back near the clock and the chain was missing. According to hotel assistant managers and general manager Maria Rouco house keeping does not remove or touch any personal items. We made a police report that same night and the very next morning my mother and I went to the speak to the General Manager Maria Rouco who did not disclose name of house keeper and did inform us the last person that entered the room was house keeping, I told her multiple times I don't care about the chain or mom charm I just really want the charm with my mother's aunt ashes, she assured us that she spoke with house keeping etc and now that I'm in NY no one has reached out to us from this company or insurance company. These rates are ridiculous especially for something like to happen. And not to mention the GM Maria Rouco than stated that house keeping did clean our tables and moved our stuff, but it was clearly a policy. this hotel has no camera after lobby floor do to customer privacy so I must say if you have children and are sending them to the ice machine in floor 2 and 4 please be very careful because you wouldn't...
Read moreMe and my family stayed at the Hyatt place in Manatí for one night to be able to get to Manatee Medical Center to see my grandmother. We were able to make a last-minute reservation. Upon checking, the attendant was very helpful and check in was very quick. Our room was very spacious. The two queen beds, and Couch was more than enough room for the three of us. The bathroom was very spacious as well with all toiletries available. We liked the availability of free toiletries at the front desk, and also the ability to borrow certain items at the front desk. The pool was well at night. And a good Temperature, the greenery around the pool, and the privacy allowed you to feel like you were in your own island oasis. The hotel is at a very good spot. Close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Parking was fairly easy and plenty of parking spaces. The breakfast was phenomenal, with many options for people who have gluten or dairy intolerance. The seating area for Breakfast felt like a full service restaurant. There was also seating with the TV and couches for lounging. There is an area where you can purchase snacks. For lunch. They have a small café where you can buy sandwiches and burgers. The quality of the food is amazing. The staff was very hospital and kind. The hotel lobby is equipped with many computers. If you need to do some research while there. They’re Jim was equipped with water fountains for filling water, bottles, and towels. The gym was also equipped with plenty of weights for those looking for a quick workout in the morning. I would say this hotel was a five star. Stay very clean and very upscale. The decor in the lobby felt like you were adding all inclusive resort. I would definitely recommend this day to anyone coming to Puerto Rico. It is a very...
