I feel we were totally misled when we visited this establishment. First the sign looks suspiciously like a Hampton Inn sign. We were at the end of a very long travel day, saw the sign, and pulled in.||We asked if there was WIFI - we were told yes. We asked if Pizza could be delivered here, they said yes, the phone book was in the room. So we got to our room, tried the internet - nothing. There was no phone book.||The phone looked like it came from a surplus sale. It was like an office phone w/multiple buttons, but all the buttons were missing. There was no phone book.||We went to the office to ask about the WIFI and the phone book, and the missing towels in the room. We were given a phone book to look through (there is no lobby, so this is standing outdoors under the portico.) It felt like an imposition to get me a pen, so I could write down the number. And the WIFI, that's spotty because of being next to the mountains. Just keep trying. From the window, we could see the TV in the lobby, obviously on for the desk clerk, because everything was closed up due to COVID, which I understand.||Pizza Hut DOES NOT DELIVER, so we had to go to pick it up, and while there we did some of the needed on-line research for our next day of travel. We returned to our room with the pizza, hoping to just kick up our feet, eat, relax, and watch some TV.||However, the satellite could not acquire signal.||Nor did we ever get WIFI. ||Although the linens didn't seem fresh, we were simply too tired, so we just went to sleep. Obviously, the establishment had WIFI signal, as they were watching in the lobby. Seemed apparent to us that they just didn't want to pay for booster to get the signal to the rooms on the other side.||The next morning we mentioned our issues with the checkout clerk, and he didn't have the authority to reduce our bill, but he would leave word for the manager. Credit never appeared on our bill.||From there, we went right next door to the Huddle House. The WIFI signal was strong, and we were able to plan the day's trip easily from there.||I was extremely disappointed in the service and amenities - it the price were $30 less, I wouldn't have expected as much. Read moreUpon arriving the building looks rundown and the grounds and parking lot show no maintenance or upkeep. Exterior doors all have big chips of paint missing. The lobby reeks of nicotine. July 10 the pool is not available. The water looks clear enough, but the front desk said “they didn’t send our pump” so nobody can use the pool. I ask for non-smoking room and the room reeks of nicotine with cigarette burn marks on the tub. It might be non-smoking today but for 50 years clearly it’s been a smoking room. The carpet is dirty. The drapes have stains on them. There’s mold in the ceiling. The microwave And mini fridge are here and they work but there’s no coffee pot even a single serve unit in the room nor is there a telephone. Upon reporting this at the front desk, she did bring a phone and a coffee maker. She said they do offer coffee, juice and milk and cereal at their food. What they’re calling continental breakfast area and that they have coffee all day. The coffee in the pot was cold and very little of it so probably left over from this morning and I checked in at 4 PM the bathroom reeks of urine. Stained towel. |The sink shows a signs of cracks in the porcelain or fiberglass whatever it is. The two full-size mattresses are sagging in the middle. The two vinyl chairs and small table are dirty. The chairs have spills and greasy type finger marks.|This place needs gutted and a total refresh and remodel or bulldoze it to the ground and start fresh. hotel room should not have carpet at all anymore. These should be tile floors for easy cleanup, and less dirt and germs and foul odors in a room.|The staff was friendly and accommodating considering the little they can offer guests. I would be disgusted, embarrassed, and appalled to give anyone a key to one of these rooms. This is an absolute rip off. We went to the hotel it used to be $60-$70 but I guess they’ve upped the prices they charged us $110 something like that which was kind of steep for just one night. But here’s where it gets wild The first room was nice. Me and my girlfriend was just about to fall asleep, and then she wakes up feeling something crawling on her face sure enough, it’s bedbugs. They had Bitten me and her already so ofc we want it a refund and a new room we would’ve just left, but it was 3 AM. We had no where else to go at that moment. We Went over to the front desk and first told us we can’t have another room and then they changed their minds after we kept telling them it’s 3 AM we have nowhere to go and we can’t stay in a room with bedbugs. They give us a smokers room with a small bed the very first room we were in was a nice room but this one was garbage smelt like smoke it was not pleasant it took an hour just to get the room after that the lady told us that the boss Hass to give us the refunds she said it wouldn’t be a problem specially, where we have proof to just come around in the morning sure enough we come around in the morning and she refuses to give us a refund even though we stayed in a cheaper room a smokers room after we just had, our blood sucked out from bedbugs The reason why she told us she can’t give us a refund because I recorded the videos on Snapchat excuse my language, but how the hell does that make sense? this place is awful.
