First, Maple Plain is a great town. It has rural feel to it; yet it is only 20 miles from the Twin Cities!||There is a library with I-net service just two blocks from the motel. ||||The management of the motel are very friendly and the manager actually treats you like a person instead of a commodity. I like that.||||The rooms are clean, the walls are relatively thick so you don't hear noise from the neighbors. It helps that the motel is actually 3 or 4 rooms to seperate buildings. ||||If there is bad weather or if you cannot go anywhere, the TV has more cable channels than I could count; including premium ones!||||There are also microfridges in the rooms.||||The rate is $49 a day or $210 a week (plus tax)--not bad for the metro Twin Cities area.||||The only drawback is that there are no desks or tables in the rooms if you want to write or work on papers.||||(There is no pool.)||||But everything else...
Read moreI stayed there for almost two weeks when I would otherwise have been homeless. Caring service, and I mean, for the price - cozy and complete rooms. Maple Plain may not be the ideal place you want to stay but hey, they were MUCH cheaper than in Buffalo, where I did once and now reside. These folks treat the price as a motel, not as some “apartment for rent”.
