My wife and I travel quite a bit for business and pleasure. We have booked rooms with various chains at various price levels. When traveling with our dogs I usually look to Red Roof Inns because they have been accommodating. As long as the room is clean and the bed comfortable, we are good to go. For a family reunion in Indiana, I booked two rooms at this location (one deluxe king and one superior). Upon arrival, we took both dogs into the lobby to declare their presence. The male at the front desk was less than professional. I provided my name and he looked up the reservation. He immediately snapped the reservation did not include the dogs. My wife tried to explain that she believed the dogs were included on the reservation. The attendant responded in a combative attitude that they were not on the reservation. I tried to explain the German Shepherd was trained, certified and registered. I attempted to show the documentation, but he was not interested. He stated one dog stayed free and charged me extra for the other. When I got to the room, I discovered we were given the wrong room. I went to the front desk. Again, the attendant was less than professional and an unpleasant conversation ensued. I expressed my frustration by informing the attendant that I had provided the other family member with the confirmation number for the deluxe room and had he looked at the number the proper room would have issued. Once back in the room, I noticed we had not been provided the password for the "free wifi". I did not wish to have another confrontation with the attendant and did not use the wifi. The bed was comfortable. However, the floor was not clean as displayed on the bottom of my socks. There was a damaged ceiling tile. mildew/mold on the bottom of the shower curtain and an electrical outlet had the wrong style covering. As I told the attendant, there are other hotels in the area that accepts pets and in the future I will pay more for staff with...
Read more!!!NEVER BOOK HERE!!! My family and I arrived around 3am, and the front doors were locked! My mother-in-law knocked, and the guy looked like he rolled out of bed. His wife left the room as well. We wanted to book a double queen bed for the 4 of us, and he said the policy says 2 people per room, but on their website, there's no mention of that! We booked the two rooms for $100 each room a night, saying it's their after hours rate, but when we got to the room, it was completely filthy! Sink was running water, hair on the beds and floors, grime on EVERYTHING. The room looked used, and they just fixed the sheets, not washing them either because there were a million stains. My boyfriend called and expressed his discomfort in the room, and the man tried to convince us to stay in there! We persisted, and he hesitantly obliged, saying to come to the front desk. We started to collect our things and 2 minutes had passed and the man called saying "Where are you?" We replied explaining that we were collecting our things and would need 5 minutes max to be ready and the man hung up on us. Once we got to the front desk, the guy wouldn't even let us in the lobby! He gave us the new keys, and my boyfriend was looking in his pocket to grab the old ones for a couple of seconds, and the guy had the audacity to say twice, "Give me the key." !!! What??? Once we got in the new room, it was still super dirty! We called it a night because we didn't want to "inconvenience" the guy again. Super unprofessional. Super filthy. 0/10 Never staying at...
