Riverview Campground — Hotel in Marshalltown

So I showed up on my bicycle, and was looking to camp. All was well until I had to use the bathroom. They have a keypad code to punch in, but you have to get it from the camp host. The host wasn't around all day or night. So I had no place to go to the bathroom. I understand people have off for these jobs, but there needs to be a backup plan. This is a park with a campground, playground and dog park. I was looking for a place to walk and found it to be peaceful. It was a nice Friday morning with minimal foot and bike traffic. While driving around looking for a hotel/motel that would allow pets, we arrived here. No problem you have pets? no trouble as long as they're leased, quiet, and you pick up after them.
