Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Marshalltown

The last few times our blizzards very soft and could be eaten like a shake. Dipped cone I was told was good. We started coming here because in June our blizzards were amazing and the girl serving them actually could tip them upside down and nothing spilled out. Wish they could be that way again. Can't speak for any other icream treats. Have gotten chicken strips on previous occasion and they were bland and greasy. Wasn't giving my dipping sauce after being assured it was in the box.

This was a HUGE disappointment. I asked for carry out lids and the ice cream to be put in a sack. The large mouth lids were put on and, knowing my hands would be full at the door once I got home, I tried to set the bag down to unlock the door. It dropped 12 or less inches. The lids came off and the sack was full if ice cream. I called to talk with the manager/owner. Condescending. Said he would buy me a replacement shake. A week later, I went to get my shake. He brought it to my car in the drive thru because he "didn't want me to drop it" Then making the situation petty, he had put a sticker on the top of the lid that was difficult to get off. I won't go back. If he treats a regular customer like that I have to wonder how he treats...

I always have a really great experience at this location, that’s why I come to this Dairy Queen. But today the boys working were incredibly rude. I couldn’t understand the kid at the register so the other kid behind him starting yelling what he was saying to me very sarcastically. Then my 10 year old son said he Trying to intimidate him from the pick up window. And said those are a bunch of unprofessional teen-age kids working today mom. I had to repeat my order several times over and over I don’t know if he just wasn’t paying attention or what the communication error was but they were very unfriendly not the normal vibe when you come to enjoy lunch with your children on Sunday.
