Decent site. Can't beat the free price. Was a little overgrown when we stayed. Just a warning for weekends: the West Virginians across the river like to get drunk and yell into the night. Best thing we did was stop at Fort Frederick state park beforehand. The history there is cool, plus they have showers on the outside of...

Only issue with North Mountain it the long hill to down to get to campsite is only for the experienced riders. So please if posable walk bike up...
