What an amazing hidden gem! We decided to spend the weekend in Marysvale since we haven't explored this part of Utah yet. We stayed at Moore's Old Pine Inn and it was the best choice! The rooms were clean and cozy- perfect for our family. The hospitality from the Mayos was wonderful! We loved learning about the history of the property and exploring the area. We rented an ATV and had fun taking the trails on the East side. This was during the fire so we'll have to come back again to explore the west side sometime. I hear it's beautiful in the Fall. We also did the white water rafting trip and that was a fun experience too. We are already looking forward to coming back again for another visit and we're hoping to bring the family reunion to Moore's Old Pine Inn. It is such a perfect set-up for large family gatherings! Such a peaceful, well-kept property. Lots of shade and just a great place to relax. The breakfast was also very yummy and it was so fun to eat on the patio with other guests....
Read moreThis was our first time to Marysvale. We went there with an ATV group from St. George. I thought $115/nt. a little pricey for rooms, but there are no Marriotts to pick from. Everything was ok except the mattress wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. We enjoyed the outdoor grill group covered area and used it every night with our group. We stayed 4 days, 3 nts. and launched out on different side by side tours every morning. We visited Fremont Indian State Park and Museum, Koosharem, drove miles of Piute trails, saw reservoirs. This place has a hose for you to clean off your ATV when you come back dirty every day. They have a grill and grill tools for you to use, plus chairs and picnic tables. Bring your own tablecloths. While I thought the price rather high, the towels, bedspread, etc are not luxury. In fact they are below a standard I would use at home. The bedspread was either dirty or...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our stay. The shared bathroom wasn't a problem because we were pretty much the only ones there most of the time. And they have one on each side of the hall. It was a very cute bathroom with a clawfoot tub and the whole inn was historic and cute. We stayed in the fishing hole room which was a little small, especially compared to a few rooms across the hall. But the bed was very comfy and we appreciated the ceiling fan. Check in was super easy. They texted us a key code for the doors and we didn't even talk to anyone. We even saw deer and baby owls on the property. It would make such a great place to go as a family. Next time we might try their private cabins. It was also a great place to stay right in the middle between Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon National parks. Also super close to Piute State park with a very beautiful and...
