I can’t think how to describe the amount of warmth and gratitude I feel towards Tamara and Bob. It’ll have to be staying there again! Which I absolutely will do. (If my dates are booked I’ll be begging Tamara 😅) They really are the best, sweetest, most genuine people and considerate hosts. If you’re wondering if I’m exaggerating I can understand why. I never had the expectations that this place provides.. |As FOR the place - I was in the Orchid room - they have just 3 units to rent. The serenity of this place .. Oh my goodness. I also felt more privacy than I would imagine is possible for any accommodation. As amazing as every aspect was, this is the #1 reason why I plan to book here again. Well, I’ll admit it really is my level of gratitude that makes me want to be sure they know i really do feel this way. It was overall WONDERFUL ❤️❤️ |I don’t really write reviews - I feel obligated to do so this time, I loved it so so I much. Tiny yet super significant addition: with my hair hotel size shampoos drive CRAZY. I also struggle w them sometimes, pretty much stopped trying. This is the first and only place that provided .. full size bottles!! To be that excited over a detail .. they have such a level of consideration over all details. |Thank you, Tamara and Bob. ❤️❤️ Cannot tell you how exciting it is to have found you and your place. Thank you Thank...

We loved having the full kitchen (with dishwasher), washer/dryer, and hot tub. ||We enjoyed the private outdoor grassy area with lounge chairs for sunning, looking at the Iao Valley mountains, or up at the stars at night. There is an outdoor gas grill too. ||The river rock pebble floor in the shower is really nice. The sound from the river and waterfalls nearby was lovely especially at night and lulled us to sleep. ||Location of the Inn is very nice and not at all far to travel to and from, whether going into Wailulu itself for shopping and restaurants or walking around. It is also very close to Kahului for all the things to do there as well. ||The owners also gave us a tour of the two guest rooms at the Inn - each also decorated very nicely with small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and other amenities. The guest rooms would be very comfortable to stay in as well.||The emails and text messages they sent prior to our stay with information and a driving video of exactly how to get there were helpful to read and watch prior to going, we never got lost.||Highly recommend staying at Iao Valley Inn. We look forward to staying again on future...
Read moreIf you are looking at reviews of this place you must be considering staying here. Do it, you will not regret it!! We stayed in the cottage for 9 nights for our honeymoon and first time in Maui. It was perfect! It is located centrally in the Iao Valley and the Iao Valley stream runs through the property. It is so peaceful and quiet and the cottage had its own private yard to lay out on sunbeds or sit at the outdoor setting. Breakfast for the cottage was provided for our first morning and with its own kitchen you are able to prepare your own meals. Although we found eating locally to be great - Maui Coffee Attic was great for breakfast and our favourite dinner was A Saigon Cafe and Arias - all nearby! We travelled the island from here as it is so central and only left to have a couple of nights in a resort at Kaanipali. Bob and Tamara are super friendly, lovely and helpful but we were self sufficient and hardly saw them. The bed is very comfortable and there is everything you need for a stay - the towels are so fresh and soft. The grounds are beautiful to walk around. We just loved it and were so grateful we found this little piece...
