We were coming to McAllen to visit family and needed to find an rv park. Well, McAllen is mainly snow birds and we couldn't find a park for people under 55 years old. We came across this place and decided to give it a try. It's mostly a trailer park with some rv parking available. The spaces for rv are tiny and very close together. The laundry room smelled awful! I opted to go to a laundromat in town. Their pool and hot tub are nice. When we arrived, I went into the office to check-in and pay. I was handed basically a lease agreement. It was like 10 pages long with all these crazy rules and regulations. We stayed for about a week and he wanted to know everything about me. Surprised he didn't ask for my social security number! No dog park or any grass. We will be skipping McAllen from now on and just have family...
Read moreThere's an old grumpy lady with a old man's haircut. She is like the neighborhood watch rolled into one. Parking isn't too great & they are not very friendly or understanding about that. So don't or leave your car parked outside your driveway unless your going to park it in the front then you'd have to walk just to get home. You can't even host bday parties in the designated area that includes a pool because that old lady complained & ruined it for everyone. They used to have karaoke night to pass the time, but she also ruined that. I don't live there, but I visit often because of family.
