Rodeway Inn Memphis — Hotel in Memphis

I called to reserve again for a funeral. The guy told me due to my 3,5&6 yr olds leaving pop tarts on the floor we’re not allow to get a room again. So what in the world are the house keepers supposed to clean. That’s because I cleaned a lot of what they left. I figured the vacuum can pick that up. Top it off ac/heat didn’t work. I spent about $450 for 2 days/nights.(2rooms) Toilet seat had dry pee, trash shoved in the big dresser, no remote in one room nasty tissues behind the dresser. Then the remote wldnt work and he expected us to unplug the tv let it reload. Hair on the shower wall. But upset about my kids leaving food on the floor for ur house keepers to actually have something to clean. That’s what a vacuum is made to clean up. Could have been worse with holes in the walls or broken tvs, but really can’t do business with me because of some food🤦🏽‍♀️ I wish I wld have taken photos of it when I got there. Didn’t think I would have to make this review because him & his wife are so nice & I always had a place to stay when we needed to visit...

I had a wonderful stay at the Rodeway Inn in Memphis, Texas. This hotel is a great choice if you're passing through or spending a few days in this quiet little town.

The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. Everything worked well — from the air conditioning to the Wi-Fi — and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the simple but thoughtful touches like the mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

What really stood out was the friendly and helpful service. The staff made me feel welcome from the moment I checked in, and they were happy to offer local tips and directions. The location is convenient, right off the highway and close to gas stations and restaurants.

😊: We had an odd sized/shaped room with 3 queen beds (very much appreciated for 3 adults at the end of a road trip). It was on the second floor back in a corner, and was quiet. It was clean, although it was old and a bit worn looking overall.. 😢: Because of the location of the room, the WiFi was barely usable inside this room, but we also weren't able to get great LTE service.

The room had 2 "window" ACs (although they were actually built in to the wall). One was too noisy to sleep with it on (we don't mind some steady "white" noise, but it was erratic and constantly changing speeds even with the fan set to a constant speed). With just one AC running it couldn't cool the room down, so we had to run both until we got it down to a reasonable temperature, and then the less noisy unit could keep it...
