Outdoor World Timothy Lake Resort — Hotel in Middle Smithfield Township

We have a 40' motorhome with 4 slide-outs. when making the reservations on the Thousand Trails website they only ask for the length, not the slide-outs. So when i registered, I knew to request a wide site to accomodate the slide-outs. The host couldn't tell me which sites could accomodate the 4 slide-outs. He only guessed and gave me two optional choices. The site we chose was long wmenough but only had gravel on half of the site which meant that we had to park close to a tree. The site was littered with dog poop everywhere. there is no guard on duty. there is a keypad entry but it is 7' high which works if your driving an RV but not if you driving a car. i noticed that the seasonal members were given a remote control to open the gate. but short-term stays had to use the keypad. i got soaked...

We stayed at Timothy lake North it's very obvious that they do not care about North it is nothing like South. It's not well taken care of at all they don't seem to maintain anything. We were there 4 days and never saw one worker or security at all. Campers just do whatever they want. Music as loud and as late as they want. We were woken up T 3am Because if a fight at a party one person actually had a led pipe and was destroying things another person was blowing a car horn and screaming. The office was never open neither was the game room or anything else and of course no one told us that when we made the reservations. We had to go to the other camp ground to check in and we didn't even do that until the next day. Absolutely...

This park, at the time of this entry, does not appear very clean. My safe stated that 3 of the 4 toilets' in one of the ladies rest rooms were clogged. The site we picked had litter everywhere so we did a site cleanup our first day there. Not up to the standards that I have become used to. Also not guard station for this park so the only security is a ranger that drives thru every so often. Next time we come up here, we will be reserving for the south facility, which more...
