I recently had the pleasure of embarking on an unforgettable RV adventure at TT Sea Pines RV Park, and I can confidently say that it left me enchanted and rejuvenated. This idyllic getaway nestled in nature's embrace provided the perfect setting for a truly remarkable vacation. With its full hookup spots, tranquil pond, and convenient proximity to the Cape May County Zoo, TT Sea Pines exceeded all my expectations.
From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff at TT Sea Pines. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the check-in process seamless, ensuring a smooth start to my stay. The full hookup spot I was assigned to was spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable camping experience. It was evident that the staff took pride in creating a welcoming environment for RV enthusiasts like myself.
The centerpiece of TT Sea Pines was undoubtedly the tranquil pond. While it may not offer extensive kayaking adventures, its serene beauty and peaceful atmosphere created a haven for relaxation. I found solace in strolling along the pond's edge, immersing myself in the natural surroundings, and taking in the breathtaking views. The smaller size of the pond added to its charm, providing a cozy and intimate ambiance that allowed me to connect with nature on a deeper level.
Although the pool was closed during my visit, the pond offered a refreshing alternative. Whether I chose to dip my toes in the cool waters or simply lounge by its edge, I found serenity in the simplicity of this natural oasis. The gentle breeze rustling through the trees and the sound of birdsong further enhanced the sense of tranquility, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation.
The roads within TT Sea Pines RV Park may be on the smaller side, offering a snug fit for RVs. While this may present a challenge for larger vehicles, it added to the park's intimate atmosphere and fostered a strong sense of community among fellow campers. The cozy roads meandering through the park's lush surroundings only added to the overall charm and allowed for peaceful walks amidst the serene environment.
One of the major advantages of TT Sea Pines is its convenient proximity to the Cape May County Zoo, which proved to be an extraordinary experience. This nearby attraction, offering free admission, provided a remarkable opportunity to observe a diverse range of wildlife up close. The zoo added an exciting and educational element to my RV adventure, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts of all ages.
In conclusion, TT Sea Pines RV Park is a hidden gem that offers a truly enchanting getaway for RV enthusiasts. Despite the smaller size of the pond and the snug fit of the roads, the park's serene ambiance, well-maintained full hookup spots, and proximity to the Cape May County Zoo make it a remarkable destination. Whether you seek relaxation in nature's embrace or an enriching wildlife encounter, TT Sea Pines has it all. I am eagerly looking forward to returning to this peaceful haven on my next...
Read moreFirst off I'll preface this with saying, the campground is in a good location. The roads are in terrible condition and not paved, just sand, potholes as big as a small car. When it rains the potholes fill with water. The area has poor drainage, but the campground should be grading and filling the holes with at least gravel. Don't try to use the camp store or game room ( clubhouse) after Labor Day. The pool closes one week after Labor Day. The front guard shack has very nice staff. The permanent seasonal residents seem very friendly to transient guests. Most seasonal sites appear clean and maintained. There are few sites with sewer apparently. Yet I observed many empty sewer sites. I asked on the phone if we could get a sewer site. My reservation through the Thousand Trails membship only had non sewer sites, but the representative told me to request a sewer site upon arrival or phone ( the day of check in) so I did. I had to call 5x to get an office staff on the line. The after hours number is incorrect. The office staff ( Hazel) was super unprofessional. She was also rude and condescending in person. I'm not sure why we were treated poorly. I was only asking if a sewer site was available at check in. Hazel stated that the sites are assigned by Thousands Trails and cannot be changed. I know that this is not true, because many times at other corporate parks, we've been upgraded to a sewer site easily. Her customer service portrayed the park in a negative way. The other office staff ( a lady) was more helpful. That staff suggested I check back daily for a sewer site. There is no need to treat guests unkind. I was just following protocol from Corporate Thousand Trails. They only have a pump out truck once a week after Labor Day. The Thousand Trails sales representative was very cordial and knowledgeable. Our site lost water after being there 5 days. There was trash on our site when we arrived. I will not return to this campground. The sewage dump station at the front of the park was out of order. That left only 1 dump station available at the front. The campground needs to address these issues. This is just my personal experience. I've traveled in Thousand Trails campgrounds for 5 years and have never been treated this poorly. I hope that no other guests are treated in this manner....
Read moreWe are Elite-Thousand Trails members and will 100% NEVER return to this campground ever again. We arrived yesterday to be told that there were no sites with sewer available, but that 'most people are leaving in the morning,' and were advised to get up and move to a septic site tomorrow.
After trying to cram our 38' travel trailer around their very narrow roads, and trying to locate a spot (90% of the spots are for annual campers-who actually take up three or four sites--this is NOT updated on their map, btw), we found one nestled in trees. Fine. We backed in. This morning, husband wakes up and goes to find a spot--he finds one! Then, we hitch up and move, only to have a nightmare getting our rig out without side swiping trees. By the time we were out of the predicament (and with a ton of screaming on husband and I's side), all of the sewer sites were already taken.
We called the front desk, and someone by the name of maybe Hazel (?) answered. She was incredibly rude, and told us that there was nothing she could do to help (despite the fact that we had been given a map of available sites the afternoon prior). We finally were able to find a spot with the help of our very friendly neighbors, but of course it doesn't have septic. We tried to book another campground, but everywhere was already booked, unfortunately.
After we were set up, Husband went to the front office to notify them of our site change and, after standing around for a few minutes while the office ladies jabbered away, was rudely asked "Can we help you?" He let them know our new site number, but they told him that they would not be able to communicate that to the guard. He was advised he needed to drive up there and tell them.
On top of this, the showers, which seem to have been completely remodeled, have black mold on the shower curtains. It's like they renovated everything but left the same shower curtains.
I honestly have no idea how this park is endorsed by Thousand Trails. The service, layout, and employees are absolutely horrible. If you drive anything larger than a 20', or want to be a permanent annual camper, don't bother coming to this glorified...
