Quality Inn & Suites in Quakertown is where I used to go for a jacuzzi room. Now I haven't been there in years, so I'm able to compare. My room was clean on one half; bed, desk, floor, and microwave. The room on the other half was not cleaned properly. What was absolutely horrid was the shower. It wasn't cleaned from the last person because their opened soap was in there! Also, the track and caulk were incredibly moldy! As for the jacuzzi, I had to wipe it out with a wash rag as it was not clean. I partially filled it with water and turned the jets on. The one jet made a noise that wouldn't stop! Black hair came out and stuck to the filters. The water was not clean or clear. After a couple of minutes, I drained it and removed the debris. I did the same thing again, and there was less debris. On the 3rd try, it seemed OK to get in. I should not have had to clean it. I wanted to relax and couldn't because of the loud noise, so I had to turn off the jets on that side. It was not a great experience. I decided to lay down and take a nap. The bed and linens were clean. The bed was very comfortable. I got up to leave as I wasn't staying overnight. I was greeted by a nasty looking spider that was on a towel by the jacuzzi. How horrible after trying to relax. All in all, I did not have a good stay. I didn't have these issues before.

Paying $250/night was painfully exorbitant given the experience. I understand that several events were in town, leaving room availability in the area low. Quakertown is not vast and the options are not abundant, so I guess it's at their discretion to charge as much as they can. Fine. When we checked in, the room was only partially made up. Fine. Maybe maintenance got called away to something more urgent. Not a big deal. The shower, however, had some black substance smeared along the walls. Gross, but also not the worst thing in the world, I suppose? We were in town for a wedding, so we needed to iron our clothes. I had specifically looked ahead to see if there was an iron and ironing table available. The iron in our room was broken, so I asked it to be replaced. They replaced it with _another_ broken iron, this one clearly from a smoking room (it reeked of cigarettes). The new ironing board wouldn't open beyond calf height. It was almost laughable. When I mentioned the accumulation of these things to the manager, noting that it seemed to be one thing after another, his response was essentially, "that seems like a bummer." Zero effort was made to make it right (I asked for some portion of our stay to be refunded, I think reasonably). 0/5 stars for his response, in particular. If you can stay elsewhere, I would.

The place was big and spacious however the details are misleading when you read about the Room details that you're getting because it says about having a private, in Room, spa tub and shows pictures of it however it's only a single "Jetted Tub" in the bathroom and it didn't even work. The tub would not hold the water to fill the tub up it just kept draining out so I didn't even get to use the jetted tub. There was a foul cat piss smell in the room as soon as i walked in to it. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The property was clean and looked nice outside. The location is kind of out of the way and I do not like the Quakertown area.

  1. One of the (newer foreign) owners doesn’t truly believe in customer service.
  2. He’s rude to staff, allows a person in housekeeping to approach guests doors with a WAILING BABY (under 2 yrs. old) & some guy.
  3. A true host wouldn’t talk down to GUESTS & look at them only as $. Like going to the breakfast buffet & staring at GUESTS like they are stealing.
  4. A true host would NOT call or have another staff member call GUESTS at EXACTLY 11am to ask them if they knew “11am is checkout and it’s 11am.’ Even to a guest staying a week?! (I’ve witnessed the same thing stay other CHOICE Hotels owned by foreigners.)
  5. MANY, better hotels in immediate area.
  6. After I asked if there was a try I could use for breakfast, Owner’Danny Junior’, told me “NO, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE A TRAY TO TAKE FOOD BACK TO ROOM!” (I have a ‘bad foot’. A tray is safer to carry food, imo. I don’t want to spill hot coffee on myself or someone else.)He was belittling me & there were some other ppl hearing this. [P.S.: I DO NOT NEED ‘CHOICE Hotels’ ‘free’ STARCH FILLED, fake eggs BREAKFASTS! I did NOT return for breakfast after the first morning during my stay. I was going to add two days onto my week, but took my business elsewhere. Font treat guests like you’re their boss!
  7. I won’t tolerate being treated like this.

**THE INSTANCES ABOVE OCCURRED AFTER ‘CHOICE Hotels National’ was nice enough to upgrade my stay to a suite since I’m a PLATINUM Privileges Member (stayed at Choice Hotels for 32 nights in 2024. My initial happiness would turn cold within 12 hrs. ** ALSO: Check in 3pm, checkout 11am is not equitable, especially when some ppl may not check in til 8pm. 11am to checkout is too early. Many guests are still sleeping.

———- Not all CHOICE Hotels act like this owner did. BUT, THIS IS AT LEAST THE 3rd Choice Hotel to do so. The NO TRAY & “11am TIME TO LEAVE” call are simply terrible behavior by a hotelier. That may be acceptable overseas, but NOT in America. ROOM CONSTRUCTION BEGAN AT 7:45am thru @ 8pm. Morning of my departure, I was awoken by a notification that I needed to sign back in for internet. I woulda preferred to be kept SLEEPING. Tub was pretty old looking, but it worked. Quantity of Items like soap, plastic glasses, coffee WERE TIGHT! Daily Free Paper? I never saw one...

Loved it. The sheets, comforters, and pillows are absolute heaven! I wish I knew where they got the from cause it was the best night sleep I've had in a long time as well as my son who's up every morn around 7am but he was so comfortable I finally had to wake him him up at 10 but he was not happy about having to get outta that bed. The staff was also wonderful esp this one women and this one older gentleman, they really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, had what we needed and much more. I've been to the other hotels all around there in Quakertown and there is nothing like the amazing comfortable beds, the genuinely caring staff, and how clean they are. The best thing, next to the amazingly comfortable beds, is the price. Esp when you go through a third party like booking. Com or priceline etc, but even still without that booking straight through the hotel itself is less expensive than the other places where you don't get half the quality service, cleanliness and genuinely caring/nice staff that you'd get here. They even have a laundry room for any quests needing to wash their clothing etc. So If your traveling on buisness or pleasure or whatever it might be, you don't need to pack a ton of clothes because you can just wash any already worn or dirty clothing. So wether you under packed or decided to extend your stay you can just rewash your clothing right there. And lastly the #1 thing I wanted to mention that touched my heart in such a profound way, every Sunday and Wednesday evening there is the most genuine, sincere, and caring man who comes and to any family or person(s) in need of a hot dinner or a great meal for dinner ( no money required) this amazing man who is also a vet, comes around to see if you'd like or need dinner those particular nights and comes back that evening with a meal for each family member/friend/person in need just out of the kindness of his heart and drives about 40 miles plus to deliver food to other places to bring a meal to those in need and dosnt stop untill he has brought everyone their meal which takes him till about midnight to get home. I just can't say enough good things about this hotel and the people who surround it, it's the closest thing to feeling like home...

My first impression of this place is somewhat ghetto and like it's a higher end motel. After getting our keys I noticed some random guy eyeballing my girlfriend very uncomfortably and for the rest of the night she was on edge and paranoid. Entering the room we discovered that it was somewhat outdated and remnants of unfinished remodeling lined the room such as patched holes, remaining carpet and other cosmetic issues. Overall the room was pretty dirty, with leftover hair and and a single fruit loop littering the floor. My girlfriend got "grocery store feet" from walking on the bare floor. The beds seemed somewhat lumpy and the comforter somewhat thin. Staying overnight I didn't feel extremely safe but the morning's breakfast was the highlight of the experience. The meals were somewhat limited but I was pleasantly surprised to see a waffle maker and a drink dispenser that served fresh, cold, healthy drinks. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and even though the dining area was small it was very welcoming and kid friendly. Notably we were allowed to bring back our food to our room and that's where I enjoyed fresh, delicious sausage links and thinly sliced crackling bacon strips along with a waffle made by a cool waffle maker. The OJ and cranberry juice was refreshing and cool and we all enjoyed our breakfast. For the value I believe the cleaning staff could do a lot better making sure that each room is well swept and thoroughly cleaned. I also recommend more surveillance. Otherwise I think its worth staying here but there are a lot of things about it that slightly soured...
