We were traveling from Arizona to Wisconsin. It was at the point during the day that we didn't feel like we could drive any longer. I called to make a resort reservation for this room and after I made the reservation I started reading the reviews. I told my husband that we should have canceled because there were numerous reviews that were bad and also there were was at least one review where the people were saying that afterwards they were telling them that their dog did damage and that they were going to charge them for the dog when they never had any issues. The guy called us today after staying there and stating that our dog peed on his sheets and pillows. When we left the room the room was fine. We are not the kind of people that try to get out of paying or ruin things and then don't take responsibility for them. When I try to talk to him he kept on interrupting me and you eventually started yelling at me over the phone telling me that all customers are bad and the reason that they have bad reviews is because customers don't want to pay their bills and want a free room. He said I could call any hotel and find out that when I tried to explain to him that I there are other hotels that have good reviews in the reasons that he have bad reviews is because of the shape of his Motel he hung up on me. I would drive through the night rather than trying to stay at that place again it was horrendous the customer service...
Read moreWas passing through late at night, called them to see if a late check in was ok. He said yes if I booked through him. I saw on Expedia that they had decent reviews so I did instead of booking through expedia. Arrived about 11 p.m., checked in with the man and was questioning staying there just by the look of the property. Off to room we went, he went in and looked around 1st I'm guessing to make sure it was cleaned after the last person. The bed was basically a cardboard box on top of a box spring. Thin blanket on the bed with cigarette burns in it. The room smelled horrible. This is one of those rooms they don't show in their pictures. I asked him for another room and he denied me. I went back to the room and looked around more and saw there was someone else's pubic hair all over the nasty shower and stuck to the toilet seat. Needless to stay I wasn't staying in this place of filth. I went back to the office and asked him for a refund so he went back to the room and looked at it and came back to the office and said no refund! Need 24 hours notice. So I left without a refund and drove another 95 miles down to Woodward. Not sure how this Super 54 Inn has any decent reviews, they must forge their own reviews so suckers like me reserve a room there. Kinda funny how most of the positive review sound...
Read moreTERRIBLE! So terrible I didn't even stay the night! I walked in to the front office and asked to see a room. The guy at the front desk was rude and kept looking me up and down. He asked where I'm coming from and was baffled as to why I wanted to see a room. It's common sense that one would like to make sure the bed they will be sleeping in is comfortable. He proceeded to tell me that he will charge me $80 to see the room. I travel quite a bit for work and have never encountered anyone who acts like this towards a potential customer at a hotel/motel. He told me that the beds are new. I don't doubt that is true but from my experience I have been to hotels before where I took the person at the front desk's word for it when they said the beds are comfortable. Coincidentally they also had new beds. After unloading my stuff to get into the room I then ascertained that their new beds felt just sleeping on a sidewalk. Ever since that experience I always ask to see the room first. This guy blatantly told me to take my business elsewhere. Im appalled that someone in that line of business would treat a potential customer as such. If I could write this negative stars I would. This is a good enough reason for me to tell anybody who reads this not to bother even...
