Read moreDo NOT stay at this hotel, save your money and stay anywhere else! We paid around $370 for two rooms and the rooms were dirty and the furniture was old and worn. The bathroom had hair in the tub, and we were disturbed in the middle of the night concerning a noise complaint, which wasn't us. Then to add to top it all off we received a phone call while we were already checked out and on our way home. The front desk asked us to leave or the cops will be called! We informed them that we had already checked out and left. She then told us that we can no longer stay at their establishment because some guy allegedly harassed one of their housekeepers and they blamed our family. We explained again that we had left the premises so we couldn't understand why they were calling and accusing our family. We then asked them to check the cameras, they said they would talk to their housekeepers and get back to us. We left it at that but decided to call the next day to find out if the issue was resolved, which it wasn't. I explained to them that we talked to all of our kids and that it wasn't anyone from our family as we have more respect for the working class than that. Again, I asked the hotel to check the cameras. The front desk clerk then asked me for a physical description of all the males in our group, which I gave her. We were asked to call back this evening which my husband did. He was told by the manager that they didn't have cameras anywhere except the ground floor and the "Facts" were that the two housekeepers stories matched so therefore our family was tried and convicted according to them. They couldn't even match the description of the males in our family but they were guilty as far as they were concerned. My husband tried to ask questions but the manager didn't give him a chance to be heard and just kept talking over him. I truly believe that it was a racially motivated incident, as we are Native Americans. We are beyond upset and it's sickening that this type of treatment is still...
Read moreThe hotel is not centrally located. It is on a truck bypass and there is a lot of truck noise day and night. It is about a mile and a half west of the airport.
Check in was slow even though I was the only person at the counter. She was having computer problems and it took no less than 20 minutes. She was polite and a bit rattled by the problems. After 4 pm on a Saturday and did not know if there was even a room ready so she also had to check that. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The bed was just ok. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The eggs were tasteless and burned, the waffles soggy and gross. Warm milk and juices. Coffee is not available all day, only during breakfast.
She had to do a $15 charge on our debit card for incidentals. I get that. She must have charged us twice as it showed on our account 2 debits for easch $15.00. Their sign says 3-5 days from checkout and the funds will be released. On Monday I happened to look at our account and noticed the double charge so I called and whoever I talked to told me it takes 3 business days for the funds to be released. Oops they must have charged us twice. No excuse for that after paying $250 for the room. Now, on Thursday those funds are still pending. I call again today...now it takes 3-5 days for release. Not that $30 is going to break me but it is ridiculous that 5 days after we checked out they are still holding those funds.
I didn't use the pool but it was extremely small and you can smell the chlorine throughout the main floor of the hotel.
Parking is ridiculous. Not only have they not had the lot stripped causing people to park badly, with all the trucks there was no where to park. Part of our party had to park on the street.
The hotel is modern and nicely decorated but I highly doubt that we would stay...
